Democrats have to get all they can before the 2022 midterms and they will try for the most radical proposals in order to "radically change" America before they loose some of their voters when they realize all that glitters is not gold. Welll, I am sorry that your fear the Democratic boogeyman (all of that is not possible as they do not have the votes to do anything radical), but unlike far too many of your Republican friends, at least you can accept reality and look forward. Brian Kemp appointed Loeffler to complete the Senate term of GOP Senator Johnny Isakson who resigned his seat for health reasons.

Due to laws regarding temporary appointed Senators, Loeffler was required to run in a special election on November 3, 2020.

Since she did not obtain the mandatory 50% of votes, Loeffler then was required to participate in the January 5 runoff election.

The original term of Johnny Isakson was to expire in 2022, hence Warnock must run again in 2022 to retain the seat.

The same reason Martha McSally was up for election last year. In order to complete the retired or deceased Senator's term, an appointed Senator must be on the ballot at the next general election. Not all states have that law, but Georgia does.

Warnock actually was the leader in the race in November. The guy that is kicking himself is Perdue, who finished a few thousand votes short of polling 50% in November. He could have avoided the runoff.

There is no reason to suggest he has any without posting proven facts from totally unbiased websites. He never ran for a federal office before, so any report about him being involved with the Chinese government is obviously a lie.

Somebody else orchestrated this, someone with much greater skill and confidence than myself.

Cooler heads prevailed, I had no intention but to cream the Republicans.

I lost Florida and Texas and the Kentucky Seat.

I rushed my bloop in the runoff debate though, shut Loeffler right up more than I would have, almost lost Warnock.
