Sen. Clinton dodges question on gays, immorality - CNN.com

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Sen. Hillary Clinton sidestepped a question about whether she thinks homosexuality is immoral Wednesday, less than two weeks after telling gay-rights activists she was "proud" to stand by their side.
Clinton was asked the question by ABC News, in the wake of Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Peter Pace's controversial comment that he believed homosexual acts were immoral.

"Well, I'm going to leave that to others to conclude," she said.

You have ZERO credibility when it comes to condemning others for dodging questions. You are the biggest cut and runner on this board. For instance you were recently taken to task on an Iraq topic where you claimed that you never said prior that "we were turning the corner", you called the guy a liar for saying it....and when several people posted where in fact you had said the very thing you denied saying....what did you do.....cut and run. You later returned and were asked to confront the question....and what did you do? Cut and run.

I think Politicians should answer the questions, but don't kid yourself that this is unique to Hilary. Don't you ever watch the Sunday shows like Meet the Press or Face the nation....the guests on those shows, democrats and republicans hardly ever answer the questions. So yes....Hilary is a question dodger....but what else is new in the world of politics and who are you to call anyone a question dodger when that is your biggest MO.

Hey DD I could give a **** less what you think about me but your girlfriend "The Ice Princess" Hillary is running for president of the United States (I am not) and she is.....this is just more proof of what a liar this woman is........She is the most ruthless coniving person running for president.....Even that little weasel Kucunich is not as bad as her..She will say or do anything to get that nomination and nobody better not get in her way............You deserve her.......

By the way that story is from CNN hardly a friend of the right...........

You gotta remember that posters like Navy Pride are freaking out at the political direction America is on. Their corrupt little world of Conservative/Republican exploitation of the masses is over and they can't handle the truth so they must resort to grasping at straws....

Provides me with lots of chuckles. Every time Navy Pride starts another one of his feeble threads I feel invigorated and joyful because I know he's developing an ulcer thinking about Democrats.

Did you read the link? She tells Gays when she is with them when she is talking to them, then she does a 180 when talking to another group.......

You truthfully don't see the inconsistency?

She said she disagreed with the views of the general who said homosexuality was immoral. How does this constitute a 180?

All you're doing here is trying to blow smoke where there isn't even a fire. You're trying to find something to get Clinton on. Sadly it's a miss. A big one. Don't worry. There is still an entire year left for you to attack Clinton before election time.

If she disagrees with Pace's comment on homosexuality, what other view could she possibly have on homosexuality? I'm sure you wont try to tell me she believes homosexuality is immoral are you? Even you know better then that homeboy. If she believed homosexuality was immoral she wouldn't have disagreed with Paces comment now would she?
 

If she was for gay rights as she said she was when talking to gays you don't think she should have stood up for them when General Pace made his comments instead of what she said?

You can't have it both ways.......Your either with them or against them......

Did she at any point state that she thought homosexuality was immoral? Did she make any statements that even resembled that? The question as to whether or not she believes homosexuality is wrong has been answered by the fact that she disagrees with Paces comment. How is this having it both ways? She obviously supports gay people by disagreeing with Mr. Pace doesn't she? Unless of course you can read her mind and you know exatcly what she's thinking all you're doing now is wasting bandwidth.

Inconsistency in statements? Do you know what that means? An inconsistency would have been Clinton saying that she doesn't disagree with Pace's statements on homosexuality. All you're doing here is trying to push a dollar out of a dime when you don't even have a cent.

If Hillary says that homosexuality is not moral to one group, then turns around and says to a group of gays that she stands by them, then NP has made his point.

This is the problem with the Democrats. We have the worst administration in history at the helm, and you would think that the Democrats have it all in the bag in 2008. Nope, they will once again shoot themselves in the foot, and a Republican could very well be in the White House again. The only 2 Republican candidates I like, Paul and Gingrich, are probably not going to win the nomination, and the Democrats will put up their usual losers. Looks like I will be voting Libertarian again in 2008, barring a miracle.
 
I'm curious why she didn't just come out and say she disagreed with Pace from the start. It is back peddling she realized she screwed up with her first answer and tried to cover. Typical Clinton.

Hmm... I'm afraid I don't see any inconsistency at all. She said she didn't agree with him. *shrugs* How in the world can that be viewed as inconsistent?
