WaPo should have a headline praising him within the next week.US confirms death of Islamic State Group leader
Seems he was killed by a Free Syrian Army operation in mid- October in the Daara province. If you wonder about Free Syrian Army, since Syria have many opposition groups controlling various territories, they are the ones backed by Turkey. IS seem to have confirmed this on their Telegram account on Wednesday. They also announced his successor: Abu al-Hussein al-Husseini al-Quraishi , not a name the media at least seem to be familiar with, don't see any articles about him anywhere. He'd be the fourt leader of IS.
I don't get it. Obviously you know that is stupid and false. Yet it isn't witty or funny, either.WaPo should have a headline praising him within the next week.
Actually, it's something that's happened before at WaPoo:I don't get it. Obviously you know that is stupid and false. Yet it isn't witty or funny, either.
Your examples are not examples of the steaming pile of crap that was your first claim. Sorry.Actually, it's something that's happened before at WaPoo:
-Oct. 2019: Referred to terrorist group Islamic State's leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi as an "austere religious scholar" in a headline when reporting his death (the first draft of the headline was worded: "Islamic State's terrorist-in-chief" but then edited it to "austere religious scholar"...likely to avoid hurting the feelings of Islamic extremists).
-Jan. 2020: Referred to Qasem Soleimani (a General in the Iranian military's Quds Force) as "Iran's most revered military leader" in a headline reporting his death when he was killed in a U.S. drone strike.
