I might rent on dvd. I will probably give it to my aunt if I can cause she's obsessed with Wal Mart.

If you can't wait though go here to jibjab.com its got this really funny music video all about wal mart and its customers.

I wonder how much of this movie is spin and how much of it is factual.

All of it is spin.
Whenever anyone is successful in this country they automatically get shot at. It is the American way.

Walmart gives jobs to people without much of a formal education. The same people whom would be making low wages elsewhere with no benefits or opportunities are now getting decent wages and benefits and every chance to move in to management. They are the nation's largest employer, and that has not been the worst thing in the world. More stores means more opportunities for upward mobility inside the company.

The biggest reservation to have is that, once Walmart owns the retail world, they will be godlike in their power to control supply, prices, and selection. But by the time that happens, internet commerce will have overtaken Walmart in sales (If it hasn't already!)

Thats something that people who see the documentary are gonna have to decide for themselves. I don't know much about this documentary except that its supposed to be good. I'll have to watch it for me to see if it has some good points. I hope its not an op ed piece like Michael Moores was, nothing against his movie though.
