Seattle school cancels "pumpkin parade" for "marginalizing people of color"

Let the kids have some fun!

Leave it to screwed up adults to ruin all the fun for kids! 🎃🎃🎃

Halloween is an American cultural tradition for the majority of people living in this country. Why should we have to cancel our traditions just because a small percentage of people dont want to participate? Its maddening. In the coming years we may have no more Halloween, no more July 4th, no more Christmas, Thanksgiving, St. Patricks day.....you name it. They want to cancel everything because "inclusion". Then what will we have? Nothing. Our American culture is DISAPPEARING before our eyes.
No they aren't cancelling Halloween, they are canceling the school part. If you've never been at a school where economic status is revealed in a school activity you should go. The have's and the have not's are easily identifiable. Often by the tears on the kids faces that don't have the means to wear the store bought costumes. Chill out, schools know way more about what is best for the kids on campus than you do.
