No, Ms. Sawant, this is what businesses have been putting up with for over 10 years. This is the problem that YOU, the mayor, and your council members have created yourselves. Enjoy your comeuppance. The police you harangued and belittled have quit the force because of you.

Not to mention, what makes you think you're so special?

I have a mixture of thoughts on this:

1. **** her.
2. The police should do their job regardless of her being a trash person that had undermined them.
2a. It's likely not a serious enough offence for the police, with limited resources, to make her issue a priority.

6 times suggests its more than a coincidence, is it not? Not to mention they were in bags. And yes, logically from there, one can assume it would have to be a person who disapproved of her political positions, which would be a conservative.

I agree, the issue is Seattle police are now short staffed and working OT, just like Portland and San Fran.

They're already up to their eyeballs in crime and violence, poop just isn't a priority.

However, Savant is complicit in the problem - she and her posse created this mess.

Luxury Beliefs are beliefs the wealthy can afford to hold since the rich are far enough removed from the consequences of such a belief. Meanwhile, the working class cannot afford to hold such a belief because they will suffer the consequences of the belief. Status symbols have shifted from costly execessive material goods to costly exsessive beliefs.

Therefore, defund the police is simply fine for those who can afford private security or live in neighborhoods unaffected by the very policies they create.
