The vote was 9-0. Liberal and Conservative justices found common ground here, which reflects the opinion of Americans as well. This was not about a Liberal or Conservative issue, but about overreaching by the police. This is something that Liberals and Conservatives will always stick together on, as well they should. Once you start shredding the Constitution, you start down a long and slipppery slope that effectively ends America as we know it.

Here's a toast to the 4th Amendment. It may be on life support, but it is still alive and kicking.
