Who is "colluding with Russia" , again, while being paid $$ TENS of THOUSANDS by Facebook?

Schumer has significant ties to Facebook. During the 2016 election period, he raised $38,900 from Facebook employees, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. That was more than any other senator or congressperson raised from Facebook employees during that cycle.

Imagine if this were Mitch McConnell....would we be able to ESCAPE THE 24/7 coverage candlelight vigils, and Berkley/Oregon riots?

And Americans just gave these miscreants control of the House....

Schumer told Warner to back off of Facebook: report

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) reportedly told Sen. Mark Warner (Va.), the top Democrat on the Intelligence Committee, to back off of investigating Facebook and its role in enabling Russia’s misinformation campaign in the U.S.

The New York Times reported on Wednesday in a story about Facebook’s internal response to controversies over data privacy and Russian election meddling that Schumer told Warner, who has been the tech platform’s chief antagonist on Capitol Hill, that he should be trying to cooperate with Facebook instead of scrutinizing it.

A Senate source familiar with the meeting between Schumer and Warner told The Hill that Schumer urged Warner to have the committee focus on issues related to disinformation and future election meddling.

The source said that Schumer was worried that Facebook may "bow to pressure from the right wing, who opposed Facebook’s purging of fake accounts and bots."

And when Sandburg testified before the Intelligence Committee on election interference this summer, Facebook’s lobbyists urged members not to ask her about data privacy or the Cambridge Analytica scandal.

As rabid as you post, I’m surprised that you didn’t know that Sen. Schumer’s daughter is a FB employee. Stokes the outrage a bit more, what?

I put that up two days ago.

And considering that election fraud is now the Accepted Procedure of the DNC, I'm not surprised that you have no problems with Schumer's corruption.

I read the long NYT article on which that's based, and Schumer has a lot to answer for but it really has nothing do with the Russian collusion on his part. His daughter works at Facebook and he was running interference for a massive corporation who has spent $millions lobbying Congress post 2016 trying to evade responsibility for being an irresponsible wreck with users' private data, and being a willful platform for harmful political propaganda, not just here but all over the globe. It's shameful IMO. What Facebook did was shameful as well - hired a right wing political hit group to target Facebook critics with charges of anti-semitism, being allied with the boogie man himself, Soros, etc. Whatever it took to take the focus of them and their wrongdoings and smear their opponents making legitimate complaints.

Bottom line is Facebook is a typical, sociopathic mega corporation whose only concern is profits, and they do not care about privacy, how their platform is used, whether it's used for good or bad, so long as they can collect and sell the **** out of private data they're happy.

This is the one thing that is bi-partisan..........don’t stroke out, Grok, you are a valued asset here! :2wave:

Chuck Schumer is sludge. I have pilloried him constantly in these pages. That the connection to his FB employed daughter is at the heart of this and not Russian Collusion does not excuse his actions in my eyes. But that is the link...not Russian Collusion.

By the way, the Right owes Schumer a debt of gratitude for being utterly and completely missing in action as the Minority Leader. Its actually worse than that. He has been a doormat for Mitch McConnell. Worse than that! He has been McConnell's House Boy. My apologies to those I might have offended with that. But there is really no other way to say it. When McConnell retires he will spend the rest of his days building statues to Chuck Schumer.

It was the Russian FB campaign, that the Grand Buffoon INDICTED CONCORD MANAGMENT over, that Warner was looking into, so yes, IT HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH "RUSSIAN COLLUSION", when we see Schumer "calling off the dogs" looking into precisely that.

Oh really? Please show us the "election fraud" of the GOP. Where are they "finding" thousands fo ballots AFTER THE ELECTION, and/or "manufacturing votes" ?

Do you ever get tired of your silliass Alinsky nonsense, about how "hysterical and worked up" anyone calling out the left's bull**** must be?

It's like the crap a HS freshman would post.

I agree. What's pathetic is 'the left' is spending all this time arguing about Pelosi, who is damn effective, and Chuck Schumer sails through as minority leader of the Senate. The priorities are about 180 off IMO. He's a corporate stooge - that's what he does. That he's a Democrat doesn't change that.
