From the article:
"She said I had to sit there with five Asian pupils," said Codie yesterday.

"Only one could speak English, so she had to tell that one what to do so she could explain in their language. Then she sat me with them and said 'Discuss'."

According to Codie, the five - four boys and a girl - then began talking in a language she didn't understand, thought to be Urdu, so she went to speak to the teacher.

"I said 'I'm not being funny, but can I change groups because I can't understand them?' But she started shouting and screaming, saying 'It's racist, you're going to get done by the police'."
If I were at school and had to be in a group of, for example, Polish or Swedish people who only spoke those languages in an English school, I would have done the same thing as that girl. It has nothing to do with being racist as I'm Swedish and Polish, it has to do with a failure to communicate.

100% agree.

Imagine the problems that would be solved if you were required to have a working knowledge of english when you moved to this country language.

The girl didn't do anything wrong. The teachers just another PC warrior unable to face the truth.

and some people want to put guns in the classrooms for the teachers to use :rofl

I, Being a mongrel of Polish / Welsh parentage wholeheartedly agree with Gibberish.
It is interesting to note that this incident occurred in a district of Manchester in the U.K., also that this girl was held in a cell for 3 1/2 hours and was then subsequently released without any charge being brought against her.

It is because these silly rules are being forced on the British by the EU Parliament without proper thought to the consequences that I for one am totally against any integration by the UK into the EU.
It would be far better if the UK withdrew from all political institutions within the UK and merely become as Switzerland has done by becoming an associate member of the EU.
This allows Switzerland to become a free trading nation within the EU but not part of their idiotic rules and regulations.

IMOP I do believe that what we are seeing in the EU evolving as it is, is another type of union very similar to that of USSR.

If what was in the article was the whole story, then this is yet another example of political correctness turning into extremism. The girl did the right thing requesting to be placed in a group where she could understand the language. I see no racist intent. Perhaps intent towards learning.

I was going to say the same thing, but you beat me to it.
