Here we go again. Doctor, his wife, two grandkids and an employee die of gunshot wounds. Suspect is in custody.

As for the suspect, Faris said: "We have found the person we believe is responsible and we are with them at this time."
"That's all I can say about that suspect," the spokesman added.
When asked if the suspect was a neighbor, Faris said: "He lives on the same road."
Rage shooting? Probably.

Yep, that one was 100% due to easy access to guns. Likely the op killing was as well.

”This incident should never have happened. And with better laws, we could have prevented it,” said Ed Scruggs, a board member and spokesman with Texas Gun Sense.

The group advocates for common sense policies to reduce gun injuries and deaths.
Of course, to the gun zealot, the bold defines an "enemy of the people."

“It is easy to go in and lie, and we’ve seen other cases in Texas where people have lied on the background check,” Scruggs explained. “The Midland Odessa mass shooting. The shooter lied on the background check. Went around the system to obtain his weapon. The Sutherland Springs church shooting, that shooter lied on a background check.”

I wonder if CTE or some other brain injury will be found from playing football and that may have played a part in this, like Arron Hernandez. Or if this has to do with treatment he or his family received from the doctor. It does not appear to be a random act

Maybe a little of both.
Adams’ parents live near the doctor’s home in Rock Hill, and that he had been treated by the doctor.
...He moved next to the Raiders, where he had 2 concussions in a 3 game period in 2012.

“I can say he’s a good kid,” Alonzo Adams told WCNC-TV. “I think the football messed him up.”

Maybe a little of both.

Aside from an all out ban and confiscation on firearms, an obviously Unconstitutional move and one sure to increase violence, there is not much a gun law could have done in preventing this. First I don’t think any reasonable person would suggest one needs to undergo the medical procedures required to properly diagnose a brain injury to exercise a righ. Second with the money Adams had he could afford to acquire a gun on the black market or pay to have his revenge.

How do you figure? Do you think he wouldn't have had a gun if it weren't "easy?" Where do you draw the line between "easy" and "not easy"?

Yes, when guns are harder to acquire fewer people acquire them, you know, because it's hard.

How do you propose we make it "hard?"

Rage shooting? Probably.

Another sad statistic.

Banning private sales, longer waiting periods, deeper background checks, limiting production...to name a few.

And they like things that are cheap...or that Mexico is paying for.
The less they have to actually lift themselves, the better. That's why they like platitudes.

Can you imagine a scene from Mar Largo:

Aide: "Mr President, you need to do this..."
Trump: "Does it involve getting off this sofa ?"
