[FONT=Arial, Arial, Helvetica]The Saudi Royals have left Bush like rats from a sinking ship, are now funding the opposition in Iraq. They also may be building its own nuclear program. Unlike the case in Iran, it is the Saudis who are doing the pushing, and they seem to be succeeding. After all, they control the oil, which is a mighty political weapon.

Bush's "shock and awe" is now nothing more than a paper tiger.

Article is here.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is predominently of the Sunni faith, they were the ones who commenced the preaching of Wahabi sect in their schools, intending to export this sect of Islam to the rest of the world.
Naturally they support and also have supported any grouping that are Sunni any where in the world.
Al Qaeda is a Sunni Wahabi grouping, so KSA (in spite of what they have told the US) do continue to support Osama Bin Laden.
KSA have always supported the Sunni groups in Iraq, they see them as their brothers, so although ostensibly the US and KSA are allies, KSA also supports it's other allies namely the insurgents in Iraq that are and will continue to kill US personnel.

I have frequently expressed my opinion of Bush and his cabinet of cronies, so will not waste time repeating these.
