SO MUCH went on yesterday, it was hard to keep up with ALL the events. BUT................. I am sure some of us tried.

However, which event were YOU MOST focused on? I know I know. All of the above. But surely one of the events caught your ire or glee the most.

Surely.

The attack on the Democrats but it was 4 not 2. @ are dead and 2 are in critical condition

Clearly you payed more attention that I did, I was focused on the game last night, and was too busy during the day to pay attention to anything else

I spent the day with my sons at an early Father's Day get-together.

And never watched a minute of the parade, amirite??

Iran / Israel has the potential to be a globe changing situation

the Army parade wasn't anything, the protests really did nothing, the murder of the politicians was politically motived and important , I couldn't care less about hocket although the Omaha college world series was important .....

Too busy fixing a hydraulic leak at the pressure control valve on my backhoe. Watched the ending of the fireworks show last night.....cool. Could care less about idiots protesting a "No King's Day", when there isn't one in the US. Nice attempt at a dodge though, a feigned distraction......go figure, huh?

I watched the Florida panthers beat the Oilers in Edmonton last night....to take a 3-2 lead and will be headed back to Florida for the next game in the finals of the Stanley Cup.
It has been about 33 years since a Canadian team has won the cup and maybe another 33 years to do it again.

The 14th was most memorable to me because I installed my new air conditioner.
Also watched the Indiana Fever hand the New York Liberty their first loss. Caitlin Clark returned from injury and had an insane game:
32 points, 7 three pointers, 9 assists, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks, and a steal.

I see that today you will make up for your lack of "interest" in any of the goings on yesterday.

Yeah, but I would be more upset about all those Canadians, Finns, and Russians who are playing for Florida. I mean, clearly too many DEI hires on that team.

Personally I let the liberals/progressives and Canadians worry about yesterday as I had better things to do.

Probably the assassination / assassination-attempt on others. The level of brazen violence has me hugely concerned.

I have a feeling this poll by the OP is not the way he wanted to it to go.
Nice try. The personal dig aside, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why some folks would rather NOT talk about the things that happened yesterday. Now try to convince me that no one here was watching the bombing of Iran, or peeked in on the parade, or didn't check up on how violent the protests were getting. Please, convince me

You gotta love the responses so far, along the lines of "I was too busy" yesterday. Something tells me if the protests had turned violent, if the parade had been a big success, or if a couple of Republicans had been shot, we would be hearing A LOT about what happened yesterday.

Well, metaphorically speaking a Republican was shot yesterday. Just happened to be Trump's ego that took the figurative bullet.

No one went, most Congressional Republicans did not attend either, some of those from the Army actually in the parade clearly demonstrated they did not want to be there.

It explains well why several MAGAs around here keep talking about the parade's "success" (or something to that end.)

Hockey is not just a Canadian nation sport..it's played world wide meaning a lot of countries like to play on the world's best teams.. Oh and by the way the US hockey team are the IIHF world champion and the Canadian couldn't even make pass the quarter finals. So I am guessing that the Canadian are not only in a 33 year Stanley Cup slump but losing out entirely in the world of hockey if the Americans, Finns and the Russians are dominating the sport.

Considering that the majority of posters on this web site are liberal or progressives if I were you I would be concerned for the lack of response you were looking for.

They are sucking down the copium like crazy.

Yeah, I noticed that trend lately. You aren't the first, believe me. A lot of Righties seem very very upset nowadays about your left leaning clientele on here. I have often wondered, it they dislike it so much, why they don't just find an echo chamber. Or is it that bleating in unison gives them some sort of solace?
NOT TO MENTION you haven't convinced me that those who "claim" to not paying attention yesterday to the events that I listed were NOT paying attention to the events. Want to try and convince me NOW? Without the childish remarks about Canadians? Give it a try.

I am sure they noticed how BIGLY the crowd was.

The tariffs and the condescending language abut us being the 51st State riled us but talk badly about our hockey teams and the gloves are really off and it's elbows up!!! Go Edmonton!!!
