I think if people including Conservatives took the time to look at her real record and drop the lies about why she left the Governors office she might have a chance.

Problem is People repeat what they hear and believe what they are told because they lack the mental acuity required to do their own, do diligence and think for themselves.

Sarah Palin has one hell of a record of accomplishments that outstrip Obama by 1000% even after Obama has been in office two years.

Read the facts before the attacks.

Pick a source and read it, and think for yourself.

Sarah Palin's Accomplishments as Governor

Sarah Palin says she is seriously considering a run for the White House, and she believes she could beat President Obama in 2012, the former Alaska governor told ABC News' Barbara Walters.

"I'm looking at the lay of the land now, and ... trying to figure that out, if it's a good thing for the country, for the discourse, for my family, if it's a good thing," Palin said in an interview scheduled to air in full Dec. 9 on ABC as part of Walters' "10 Most Fascinating People" of 2010.

Some people just cannot accept their roles in the political circuit. Palin can raise money like a mofo, and if she was to ever aspire to be (and only be) a campaign fundraiser for the GOP, she would be a godsend for the party.

But Cap's right. To have her win the nomination is to practically ensure that you get "four more years".

Her accomplishments as a governor!?

What, besides numerous allegations of violation of ethical codes and resigning? Really? We want to look at her accomplishments as a governor!?

I like Palin quite a bit, and her political course has quite a way to run before it's over. I think she has a shot at the White House too sometime in the future.

But I agree with the sentiment that if she takes a shot at 2012 she will be shooting her party in the foot.

That said I would vote for 25 years of Palin before 1 more term of Obama, so if the republicans

Maybe not Obama, but someone even more socialist. We have to put somebody up who is unbeatable.

If the Dems do not re-nominate Obama, THAT would be a nightmare for them, too. Palin against someone the Democrats put up instead of Obama? Probably the worst campaign situation in the history of the world. Be the PERFECT time for a third party candidate to come in and get the win.

Hell, if that scenario happens, I'LL run. I'LL win and then I'll make my cabnet out of DP members.

If Palin runs as the Republican and Obama as the Democrat this could be the time a third party candidate has a real shot to win.

The head of the ATF is not a cabnet position. I know it's a technicality, but if you are going to be an important part of my administration, it is probably a good idea if you understand the basic structure of government. :2razz:

I just want free booze and cigarettes. I don't mind paying wholesale for my weapons and ammo.
