Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum challenged President Barack Obama's Christian beliefs on Saturday, saying White House policies were motivated by a "different theology."
A devout Roman Catholic who has risen to the top of Republican polls in recent days, Santorum said the Obama administration had failed to prevent gas prices rising and was using "political science" in the debate about climate change.
Obama's agenda is "not about you. It's not about your quality of life. It's not about your jobs. It's about some phony ideal. Some phony theology. Oh, not a theology based on the Bible. A different theology," Santorum told supporters of the conservative Tea Party movement at a Columbus hotel.

I am convinced that Mitt Romney is some kind of mormon WIZARD.
Seriously! Think about it...
Each time one of these guys pulls ahead of him, he casts some sort of 'retard speak' stupid spell on them.
I bet Newt is sitting around looking at tapes from a few weeks back and shaking his head: "I actually f-ing said that?? A base? A f-ing MOON base? I said that? WTF happened to me?"
It's scary.
Hopefully Obama has taken Defense against the Dark Arts.
I don't ever remember a presidential election more focused on religion. What's with these Christians?

"We all know that this country was founded on a Judeo-Christian ethic. But the Judeo-Christian ethic -- sure the Catholics had some influence -- but this was a Protestant country," said Santorum. "And the Protestant ethic, mainstream, mainline Protestantism, and of course we look at the shape of mainline Protestantism in this country and it is a shambles, it is gone from the world of Christianity as I see it."
Hell, Santorum doesn't even think Protestants are "real" Christians.

*sigh* Here we go again. :roll:I get it.
Everybody fears death. And they just want a guarantee of something more.
I get that part.
But how they're so easily taken in by the right, when the GOP is currently the least Christian of the two parties. I don't get that.
*sigh* Here we go again.
Palin.....Trump....Bachmann....Newt...Santorum
wtf is going on with the GOP?

I'm no fan of Santorum but perhaps you should back up accusations of that severity with facts.During the primary, the other Republicans have to show some caution on their attacks on Santorum. After the primary, Democrats would have no such restrictions.
Santorum would be a disaster for almost too many reasons to count. In his book, he explained any of his prejudices and agendas. He also seems fixed on sex and controlling other people's relationships. For example, in his book he blasted the case the ruled states can't ban inter-racial marriages (Santorum is a racial segregationist) and blasted the Supreme Court for ruling that states cannot outlaw contraceptives (he favors all contraception - men and women.)
Good!!!!!!
Not much of a surprise.. Its been known he is a religious nutjob, and he is just showing his true colours. The GOP might be stupid enough to elect him as their candidate, but Obama will obliterate him at the general election.
Given that the 3 leading candidates in the Republican presidential nomination are 2 Catholics and a Mormon, one might have assumed that they would be proponents of The Greatest Commandment!Matthew 22:34-40 The Greatest Commandment
34 “But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great Commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang ALL the law and the prophets.”
Leviticus 20:9 "If anyone curses his father or mother, he must be put to death."
20:15 "If a man has sexual relations with an animal, he must be put to death, and you must kill the animal."
...are these the laws Santorum wants Obama's campaign to be based on?
