Right now he's talking about immigration reform in NYC.

Watch LIVE: In New York City, Bernie Sanders Asks Supporters, 'Where Do We Go From Here?' | Alternet

Bernie Sanders is keeping his progressive movement alive despite not winning the Democratic nomination for president. After speaking at the annual convention of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials Thursday morning and taping an interview for "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" that afternoon, Sanders will return to the Town Hall performance venue in New York City, where he held a fundraiser last September.

The program is titled “Where We Go From Here" and began at 7pm EST.

Most of the leftwing morons of the country are salivating at this dunces words, that's scary.

Most right wing morons of the country tend to salivate at denouncing his words when they never even listened to them.

See, that argument you just made is silly nonsense. I've listened to bernie. He's a ****ing grade a moron. Thats a conclusion based on his words, his plans, his ideas. Just because one disagrees does not mean one hasn't listened.

Hey, Renae, if you disagree then why not tell us why?

Yes, because college should be free for everybody.

Good gawd almighty, that is the most disturbing stupidity ever spewed by a politician. He has the economic understanding of a small child.

The entire premise of "Democrat Socialism" is for more, morally repugnant mob rule/voter bribery of the highest order. It's basically politicians competing for who can offer the most "gold from the treasury" for the benefit of their voters generally at the expense of others.

Free College!!! It's not free, you just spread the payment to everyone.
Free UHC!!! It's not free you just spread the payments to everyone.
Punish Rich Corporations with higher taxes!!! Corporations don't pay taxes, their clients and customers pay.

I reject pretty much every, tired old, sad idea that man stands for.

Yes it should be. Just like it used to be. Of course you k ew that I'm sure.

By mob rule, do you mean the rule of the majority?

I don't get the move of backing Hillary but still taking his campaign to the convention?

...and how do you know that?? Most of us don't like him BECAUSE WE'VE HEARD WHAT HE HAS TO SAY. We're not liberals who look at what people say that someone said and are informed as to the exact things to think about those things, we actually listen and then decide. Take as an example the accusations of racism towards Trump. He's never made any racist comments, yet you've been told that he has and presented comments that must be intentionally misconstrued as being racist as a rationale. We look at facts and then think for ourselves, you hear rumors and then react as you are told to. The sad thing is that 50 years ago, it was liberals who were the critical thinkers and conservatives who were the reactors. We've managed to get better, while you've managed to worse....

Yes, these are generalizations and do not reflect all liberals or all conservatives, but rather reflect general trends among the two ideologies in America.

I don't understand your question. The convention is where the nomination takes place. The nomination is awarded by majority vote.

You mean back when a college had about 100 males students and a degree was worth the same as dance lessons?

Who pays for all this "free" you want?

And you know what would happen. Then liberals would start to complain about how "hard" some college are. We'd have to dumb that down, too. This has already happened in bad school districts across the country, and people complain that tough entrance requirements at many schools are "racially biased."

The lowest common denominator rule always applies with this nonsense.

Actually, merit based scholarship is a very liberal idea. Conservatives simply don't want to spend the money required to make college affordable. In other words, conservatives are the ones who dumb down education by not funding it at all.

Yeah. Those ideas are crazy.

It's like Free High School. Who wants that? (Free universal high school- established in the late 19th century)

Or free/cheap health care for old people. What a stupid idea. (Medicare- 1965)

Or making people pay taxes. What a terrible idea. Everyone knows the economy grows faster with less taxes, so zero taxes are best!

Great analysis as always, Renae.

The, "open borders/free stuff", faction is losing it's ass in Europe.

None of that stuff is free. Medicare damn sure isn't free.

Conservatives understand that college is not a constitutional right. We also understand what "free" turns things into, and that a "free" college education would be virtually no more valuable than a high school diploma.

guaranteeing debt free access to tertiary education is common sense in a competitive global economy.

Or free/cheap health care for old people. What a stupid idea. (Medicare- 1965)

we should have solved that one during the Truman administration.

the Bush administration increased education spending at the time to an all time high so you would be wrong.
Why shouldn't people put a stake in their education? they should have something at risk other than so and so will pay for it.

People tend to work at something that has value that they have a stake in they typically could careless if someone else is paying for it.

you forget what liberals mean when they say free. it is only free to non-working LCD salaries.
if you have a job, work and are productive they really don't give a crap about you.

if Bernie sanders enacted his plans based on what he said I would have about a 10% increase in my taxes from where they are.
I really can't afford that.

I don't work to support sanders or any other liberals free stuff. I work to support my family.

guaranteeing debt free access to tertiary education is common sense in a competitive global economy.

Yet no one does it or they only do it for the top 20% of students and everyone else is left in the dust.
you don't seem to understand how the system works.

we should have solved that one during the Truman administration.
fo

fortunately we someone was thinking and saved us from the LCD healthcare system.
sorry I have more value for my health than that why don't you?

You missed the generous dose of sarcasm.

I'm guessing Renae won't tho.
