Sanders dominates Clinton in California with 61.25%

Mmm, indeed. 538 placing 59% weight on a single poll at the extreme is probably how it decides these types of things:

What? I go away for four days to come back and find this?

That's the way it is for a woman though, if the man wants; he just take(s), and the woman has to stand patiently by.

Sexist much?

What a load..

Now that the GOP race is done, and The Donald is the presumptive nominee (gag), let's focus on this race. Bernie is not only giving Hillary a run for her money, he is also proving just what a terrible candidate she is.

Over 300 million people in this great nation, and the best we have are a lying career sneak and a lying career celebrity. Unbelievable.

I'll bet you a dozen bitcoins that 538 is closer to accurate than "ThePoliticalAnalyzer" and their meme-expert, storytelling, social-media expert, rapper that the OP started this thread with.

What a freaking joke of a thread.

Joke of a thread?

This is only your sixtieth post and you know what is a joke of a thread?

Of course I don't even know how many posts I have (its around 300.)

Ya, I bet it's funny to somebody.

Are you disappointed with it's results?

Are you saying this in frustration?

Republicans are real good at wrapping themselves in the flag, a bible in one hand, and pointing a finger while screaming at the opposition "your unamerican". Classic GOP tactic when they have so little to offer. Throw in some country music and we have a square-dance!!

Exquisitor, someone should get you a cookie or something. You've obviously earned it.

It is not so much a support of socialism but a true hatred of American values and principles. You heard it with Obama and his bitter half when they declared "we are finally proud of this country." Most of the policy Sanders and his followers support are un-American and quite frankly scary.

I see what you did there, and damn was it clever!

Wow, Bernie busters are even more delusional than Cruz supporters.
I think Bernie is hoping for a Hillery indictment!

People like Robert Blake and Sherman......citing bull**** sources like RCP and 538, and then childishly making fun of the sourcemaker's plethora of accomplishments after strutting around like they won.

Debating with these people is like trying to play chess with a g*ddam pigeon.

I was surprised at the dozen BTC comment.. Do you realize how much $$ that is?

That is pretty sad. I mean, Clinton is bad news. There is no doubt about that. But the socialist BS is not what we need running the country. The Europeans tried it and lost their shirts. Why in God's name would we want to wreck the economy with something that has been shown to be the wrong way?

so then you must think that FDR was a failure?

Oh. Not at all. He only put the country on a path that then arguably seemingly sensible led society in a suboptimal direction over the decades since.

Regardless of what we think is optimal. The continuation of the current policies will lead us in a negative direction. sanders proposes the same/similar policies that FDR proposed. So while you may not agree with sanders and think that there is a better direction (which there probably is) none of the candidates are proposing anything that will actually work except sanders be it sub optimal or not. so I don't really understand why you think it will wreck the economy when history has shown that his policy's will generally strengthen the economy.

History has shown that socialism destroys economies..

Which Economy has Socialism alone destroyed? Also Bernie believes in a mixed economy so this conversation isn't actually relevant to the original discussion but may be fun to have perhaps we will both learn something.

Venezuela for one..

Socialism will tax the makers right out of the country and/or greatly reduce makers motivation to make leaving nothing but takers with no one left to take from..

Well someone's certainly frustrated. The primary is essentially over and no Sanders wont win Calfornia with 61% of the vote lol.

Venezuela died due to incompetence and corruption and socialism on steroids Venezuela had/has huge amounts of oil and the actual wealth of the country was very high because of it. However politicians started taking the money for themselves and giving it to friends and family. Then a military coup happened and in order to appease the citizens the government started giving away money to keep the populace happy while continuing the cycle of corruption. It was not socialism itself that destroyed Venezuela but instead was corruption and appeasement. If the Venezuelan government had instead taking its money from oil and invested in infrastructure and its civilians through socialist programs, as well as investing in technology and business, it would probably be a moderately powerful first world country today.

As for taxing the makers out of the country I believe there is a few wonderful FDR quote that deals with this.

"We have always known that heedless self-interest was bad morals; we know now that it is bad economics."

"The money changers have fled from their high seats in the temple of our civilization. We may now restore that temple to the ancient truths. The measure of the restoration lies in the extent to which we apply social values more noble than mere monetary profit."

I was unable to find the quote I thought I once read was from FDR , although I may of course be misremembering it, if I remember correctly it goes something like this

If they leave, good, America has no place for greed, we will be stronger as a result. and when they see the new strength of America they will return. (they meaning the "makers")
