Now the interesting thing to know would be if DOGE complied with the WARN Act and/or Federal Civil Service Laws as they pertain to RIFs

Did they provide proper notification?

Did they evaluate employees for transfer to other vacancies?

Did they use seniority as a factor?

Etc.

Or did they just send emails out at 0500AM telling people "Surprise, your fired!!!".

Oh - the blips if you are wondering are Census years where the Fed's hire a lot of temps to do the census.

San Francisco, eh? Aren’t these the same people who supported defunding the police such that it took hours or days to get a cop to show up on a 911 call? “911. What is your emergency…. Okay, we’ll see you sometime tomorrow afternoon to take a report, or you can come down to the precinct and file your own today.” Then they said crime was down, not because the criminals went on strike, but because people stopped bothering to call.

 
California lost jobs last month too. They're never going to get their unemployment down to single digits.

Yep, it was about 60/40 percentage wise. I think that says a lot about California when nearly 40% of the voters picked Trump.
