Sacramento Mom Says Catholic School Expelled Her 3 Kids Over Her OnlyFans Account

Well, then unfortunately we really disagree.
Disagree about WHAT? Do you even know what point you are arguing? Because I sure dont.

That may not be possible since kids have Internet access and this very well could become the talk of the school among the students requiring it be addressed. That is likely what the school wants to avoid.

Oh, no doubt this became the talk of the school. No doubt. As a parent, would I want to know before accepting a birthday sleepover invitation to this house, for example.

You know what we have a VERY LONG HISTORY OF? Children of porn stars.

Whenever people talked shit about my mother I beat their ass. I literally destroyed classrooms exacting vengeance on people for saying things about my mother even jokingly. Thats because I didnt have one. Kinda struck a nerve.

Theres worse things than having a mother who posts nude pictures of herself behind paywalls online.

Yes, there are, but that's not the point.

Yeah, I'm arguing that these repercussions (student dismissal) are Mom's responsibility. You seem to be laying blame on the school. Am I right?

Can you imagine what her boys must be going through with their school chums? With their fellow boy students?

Mom really didn't think this through. Or, maybe she don't care?

Yes, there are, but that's not the point.
I think people are making too big a deal over this. You know who else's kids are going to get ridiculed and attacked? Celebrities. Famous athletes. Politicians. Kids who's parents work at McDonald's. Kids who's parents are garbage men.

I just never really heard of Drew Barrymores kids being violated, or Charlize Theoron, or any of the numerous people that have posed in adult mags. If there is a concern where HER kids are concerned than thats a parent/child converstion. If its a concern where other peoples kids are concerned, thats a converstion with their parents as they explain how their kids got behind a paywall.

Ah...yes...now we are communicating.

Yes...Im blaming it on the school.

Mom seems to have put herself first, even by approaching the media with her story to solicit support/sympathy. Wherever her three little boys go to school, people are going to find out. Kids are going to whisper and tease. Thanks, Mom.
That’ll never happen, kids are nice to each other.

I'd bet most of the kids dads would be the one volunteering to drive their kids over to the sleepover.

And that's where I disagree! ;)
RIght...because you think it was appropriate to kick them out in the first place.

See...THATS where we disagree.

Ah, I see. So, you don't believe the mother violated the school's standards or interests? Wouldn't the school be the best to determine that?

It's true that celebrities' kids are also sometimes ridiculed and attacked. (Just being the child of a celebrity--Scott Newman is an example--can be a horrific challenge too even though it has its perks). And kids do need to learn how to handle teasing and bullying. But trying to compare celebrities' kids to ordinary parents' kids just doesn't work.

Why though? The suicide rates represented in youth across the social spectrum indicate far more about the resiliency factors learned and taught in their home than the external circumstances they face by environment. I would think a far more telling lesson could be learned in how the parents relate to their children more than whether or not mom takes off her bra so the other kids dads can pay to see her boobs.

Did she? Is there a clause in the parent student handbook that says parents should not engage in the legal business enterprise of titillation for pay?

And OK...so I'll admit I'm wrong if it does and that was known from the get go.

Im really not trying to be difficult or dismissive...I really just don't think its as big a deal as its being made out to be. Throughout history, literally hundreds of well known public figures have graced the pages of adult entertainment magazines, or been caught topless at beeches by paparazzi.

Oh...and for the record, I wouldnt appreciate it if it was my wife...but then...we have a well known and established set of mutual moral values.

But again, well known public figures are not the same as ordinary moms and dads.

There will be a general clause, I'm sure. So, your point is somewhat reasonable in that there may not be a specific enumeration.

But I very much doubt that would kick her out, without giving her a chance to right what they see as disturbing behaviour. I can't say that happened here for sure, but my experience with Catholic Schools is they virtually always give a chance to right a wrong - even if it's a specifically forbidden wrong!

'Redemption' is a really big thing with Catholic institutions. Nearly everybody gets a second chance, as long as they show a contrite desire to rectify the situation. 'Progress' is a big deal. We like to see progress, realize we're all different & there's no 'perfection'. A (contrite) expressed desire to do what's right, goes really far in Catholic Schools. That means more than the actually ability or success in doing right. That's why we have confession! It's a new start, every week! Because we're never perfect!

It isn't a trial. It's a private church school for which selling nude photos of yourself is sinful and prohibited. Having kids snickering looking at videos of one of other school kids' mother would be disruptive. Regardless, it is a private school. Put the kids in public school. Depending upon which city, they might use the mother's pictures in classroom instructions for 4th graders sex education classes.

Sort of like how Twitter is a private company and can throw people out if they want to.

Yes.

This discussion brings to mind two people from my youth. Tillman's mom and Chitty's step-mom.

The only difference is....they didnt get paid.

This woman is bringing in 150k a month? Im betting she is going to start home schooling those kids. Oh...and it doesnt appear that the school was doing anything about it til a buch of moms started a group demanding action.

Oh...and bytheway...I took one for the team and looked up TIffany Poindexter on Firefox. No nudes. Scanty clothing...no nudes. I reckon that might not be the case if you pay for it, but theres nothing inaproriate for publicly available viewing.

From the CBS affiliate in Sacramento:

The scandal is expanding involving young kids kicked out of Sacred Heart Parish Catholic school because of their mom’s nude videos online.

A total of five kids have been kicked out of school. Two of them are the children of the Sacred Hearts Athletic Director, Richard Levin, who is now off the job because of his connection to the sexual online videos. Two More Kids Kicked Out Of Sacramento Catholic School Tied To Parents’ OnlyFans Scandal – CBS Sacramento (cbslocal.com)

From the linked source above, here is what one unhappy parent had to say: [Ms. Jackson/"Mrs. Poindexter"] “Has put us all in the difficult position of having to explain to our young sons and daughters why a mother in their community would choose to become a sex worker and sell her body.”

"Interestingly," the Jacksons chose to tell their own sons that mommy is an "Internet model." ;)

Don't you suppose she did her "modeling" while the kids were at school? I've a 20-something relative who is a cam-girl and who thinks her kids don't know. I really can't roll my eyes enough.

150k a month she can afford some remodelling.

We have some friends who's daughter also took up the webcam thing recently. Kinda weird what is becoming 'normally' accepted these days. But it is.
