As a family, we've been Catholic Schools all the way through the generations. Besides their being a better academic alternative to my city's public school system, and our desire for a Faith & values education for our children, we especially appreciate that entrance & attendance is selective.

Catholic Schools are a private institution, with standards appreciated by the majority of the families. If Ms. Poindexter does not want to ascribe to those standards, she should find an academic institution that's a better fit for her & her children.

Ordinarily, I'm extremely laissez-faire in personal matters like sex or drugs. It's none of my business what anybody does in their personal lives. But I also respect our private institutions controlling what they do in their private spaces. As such, I respect the Catholic School's right to control their environment.

But the problem really isn't the mother or the school. It's the relationship between them, that's in conflict. If legal and not to the detriment of the children, Mom has the right to do whatever the hell she wants. However, the school also has that right - as well!

There's no 'bad guy', here. There's just a bad fit. Life is often like that. You move-on to better fits - as it seems the school has done, and Mom needs to come to grips with.

It isn't a trial. It's a private church school for which selling nude photos of yourself is sinful and prohibited. Having kids snickering looking at videos of one of other school kids' mother would be disruptive. Regardless, it is a private school. Put the kids in public school. Depending upon which city, they might use the mother's pictures in classroom instructions for 4th graders sex education classes.
