Funny stuff! Apparently when creating fake documents to implicate Putin opponents of working with foreign powers the Kremlin and/or Russian state TV can't find anyone with a good enough grasp of English to make those documents at least remotely plausible.

Read the documents with a Russian accent and they sound even funnier - and demonstrate that they are clearly the work of a Russian writer with only a high school grasp of English. You couldn't make this stuff up - but they did! :lamo

American AltRighters will believe this material.

It's almost certainly fake, however I wouldn't say it's fake just because it's strewn with grammatical errors. There's a number of government officials unfamiliar with the writings of George Orwell and millenials don't know how to define a dodecahedron.

Even millennial English speakers know instinctively when to use definite articles, and in any case, it's pretty unlikely that were the documents real, they would have been written by anyone born within a decade or so of 2000.

LOL.. but lets be fair it is not the first time we have seen media, even western media do **** ups like this... I remember a certain American tv channel making % statistics going above 100% to prove their political view :)

One would have thought that with the numerous talents they have at least on RT, they would have borrowed someone with fluency.

The Russians do this constantly. The fake letter they sent to the NYT had grammatical and other errors. A fake phone call to the NYT featured a Russian speaker with a Moscow accent translating Poroshenko's words although Poroshenko speaks Ukrainian and also speaks English fluently (no need for a translator).
