A Russian schoolteacher has been arrested after being reported to police by her pupils for making anti-war comments, according to local media.
The teenagers in the southern city of Penza are said to have recorded a conversation with Irina Gen, their English teacher, on 18 March.
They were apparently upset that a planned sports trip to the Czech Republic was not going ahead and asked Ms Gen for her opinion.
According to an alleged transcript of the conversation published by the Meduza website, she said it was right that the trip had been canceled and that such things would continue until Russia "started behaving in a civilized way".
The 55-year-old compared the country to North Korea and "expressed a view of the war in Ukraine different from the official one", Meduza said.
It is thought Ms Gen could face a fine of up to $60,000 or a jail term of up to 10 years.

The KGB might have changed its name to FSB for rebranding.
Now, is selling nationalism instead of communism to brainwash the Russian masses but ---> they are the same creature, a terror machine.
Must be terrible for the Russians that have democratic aspirations but don't manage to leave.
*** As a side note, the helicopter so-called attack on Russian soil is turning out to be a false flag attack. The Ukrainians have denied that it was their helicopters. It was done the same day when conscripts started joining the Russian military. Is Putin and the FSB using fear and false flag attacks to appeal to that extreme nationalistic feeling?
*** An agency, Levada puts the trust of Russians in Vladimir Putin at 83% inside Russia. The agency is Russian so take it with a grain of salt.
