The above article is meant for an audience totally ignorant of the fact that there are ethnic Russians in Ukraine. Most of them in the east and south. Furthermore, these ethnic Russians also have families on the other side of the border in Russia. Propaganda will have us believe Russia is somehow re-educating someone who is already Russian to become Russian!

What is closer to the truth is that some refugees- ethnic Ukrainians- probably prefer corridors to western Ukraine while ethnic Russians prefer corridors to Russia.
