Notices has appeared in the Belograd region posted by government officials soliciting donations from the public to provide "comforts" to the troops. The notices assured the public that the troops had all the supplies they needed but that people could give them a "bit of home" by donating a few items. The "home comfort" notice said:
""Friends, right now for our military the most important thing is medicine: strong pain relief, cold medicine, cough tablets, bandages, syringes, insulin, Novocaine, Lidocaine." (and)
We are also accepting personal hygiene items, socks, hats, gloves, thermal underwear, cigarettes, head torches."
A person answering the telephone at the Shlyakhovo administration on Monday, when asked about the notice, said donations for the military could be dropped off at the administration building.
Reuters sent requests for comment to the defence ministry in Moscow, the administration of the Belgorod region. None responded."
LOL...sounds like a German dispatch to the homefront in Dec of 1941...'"help...we are out of shit".
