Doctors Bar Navalny’s Evacuation to Germany as Confusion Surrounds Presence of Poison in System

The two transport police that were informed of a deadly toxin being present.

8/21/20
A day after Alexei Navalny was hospitalized in an apparent poisoning attempt, doctors are barring his evacuation to Germany citing his unstable condition, while confusion surrounds the presence of poison in the prominent Russian opposition leader’s system. Navalny, 44, lost consciousness an hour into a flight from the Siberian city of Tomsk to Moscow on Thursday. After his plane made an emergency landing in the Siberian city of Omsk, he was transported to a hospital, where the deputy doctor told journalists the hospital was “working on saving his life.” He said that the opposition leader was connected to a ventilator and in critical condition. Navalny’s team has pushed for the Kremlin critic to be transferred to a leading European toxicology center, citing a lack of necessary equipment at the regional hospital and a worry that Russian doctors will be pressured by the authorities to withhold details of the cause of his illness. An air ambulance departed from Germany early Friday morning to collect Navalny, but the regional hospital’s head doctor said his condition was unstable and he could not be transferred, according to the Kremlin critic’s spokeswoman Kira Yarmysh. The head of Navalny’s Anti-Corruption Foundation Ivan Zhdanov, who was also at the scene, told journalists that police reported that a “poison” was found in Navalny’s system that is “dangerous to those around him,” but that law enforcement wouldn't name the substance. On Thursday, the Kremlin had wished Navalny a speedy recovery and said that if he needed to leave the country for treatment, the necessary travel requests would be considered.[/COLOR]

As I understand it, a German plane was ready to transport Navalny to a special toxicology hospital in Germany. Two Russian transport police officers were at the Omsk hospital to facilitate this transfer. However, one of the transportation officers received a phone text message to deny the transfer. The text said that a deadly toxic substance was present in Navalny, however she said the message did not identify the substance. I imagine the Russian authorities know how long it takes for trace amounts of whatever type of poison was used to vacate Navalny's system. That time has not yet transpired so transferring Navalny to Germany is out of the question right now. The hospital's deputy chief doctor said "no trace" of poison has been found in Navalny's system during tests so far, contradicting the claims by police. Navalny's spokeswoman wrote on Twitter that Navalny was apparently poisoned with something mixed in his tea at an airport cafe, as it was the only thing he drank that morning.

They got him with poison at an airport cafe? That's impressive.

It's also murder.

Democracy -- Putin style.

How do you think they pulled it off? Did he have a drink sitting there or was the cafe infiltrated somehow for the purpose of poisoning the drink?

It is profitable to poison Navalny exclusively to his western curators. So there are two options now: real health problems that every living person has, or a theatrical performance to attract attention.

Looks like the move to Germany can now go ahead.

Russian liberals have asked the US ambassadors and other western partners to wash their asses more thoroughly - the opposition is being poisoned!

"Doctors do not object to Navalny's transportation to Germany."
Lovely! Does the court object? Hey, are you guys all fu**ed up? He is a defendant, under a sentence, he has no legal right to leave the country without permission of the court. Then write a personal code of criminal procedure specially for this shyster.

I'd guess that one of the cafe staff was approached and agreed. Maybe a relative is on trial or in prison.

It seems that the Soviet Union raised the bar for human development so high that people were simply afraid of their own capabilities and chose the path of cave obscurantism and degradation. Society is rapidly becoming stupid.

He's now in Germany.

Do try to keep up, eh?
