Though Giuliani gained a lot of personal attention after 9/11, he had a huge portion of the NYC population dislike him and his policies.

He should be remembered as a disgrace...both personally (ie his treatment of his wives) , politically, and as a member of the human race.
It is entirely appropriate that he play his swan song in the shadow of an even bigger disgrace, Donald Trump.
