Rudy Giuliani said he’s worried his defense of President Donald Trump could affect his decades-long legacy in politics but still feels his client is one of the “most unfairly” treated people in modern history.

“I am afraid it will be on my gravestone. ‘Rudy Giuliani: He lied for Trump.’” the former New York City mayor told The New Yorker’s Isaac Chotiner. “Somehow, I don’t think that will be it. But, if it is, so what do I care? I’ll be dead. I figure I can explain it to St. Peter. He will be on my side.”

As with most of what republicans call fake news, I think it sometimes slips their minds that there's a thing called videotape or digital recording and voice too.

That's definitely a Trumpian line. As high as anybody can imagine. Not good ethics, not a great record of ethics. Not anyone who knows me will vouch for it.
I mean, ethical people typically don't even have to say anything at all.

But here's Giuliani, saying it's not as high as he can imagine, nor is it as high as YOU can imagine. Nay, it's as high as ANYONE can imagine!
How would Giuliani have been able to determine that? He couldn't. He's lying even in saying he's not a liar.

They call it truthful hyperbole, but that's just AKA a lie.
