Donald's Truth post:

We’re having a News Conference tomorrow in the White House. I’m going to make our Capital safer and more beautiful than it ever was before. The Homeless have to move out, IMMEDIATELY. We will give you places to stay, but FAR from the Capital. The Criminals, you don’t have to move out. We’re going to put you in jail where you belong. It’s all going to happen very fast, just like the Border. We went from millions pouring in, to ZERO in the last few months. This will be easier — Be prepared! There will be no “MR. NICE GUY.” We want our Capital BACK. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Round 'em up. Ship 'em out. FAR from the Capitol.

We will learn the details of Trump's fascist plans tomorrow. He plans on sending goons into DC looking for criminals and homeless people. He says it will happen quickly.

Was a police state one of Trump's campaign promises?

He did say he was out for revenge if re elected.

The homeless problem is just yet another liberal misstep. These people don't need love, they need tough love. Their minds are so full of drugs and booze they can't think straight. Why would we let them make their own decisions and enable them to continue on the path of self-destruction?

This is so much better than building affordable housing.
I'm dying to hear where he's going to send them. Trump is not going to put homeless up in a hotel, so I'm guessing a detention center. I see a source of labor in the distance. Put those damn homeless to work.

I really don't know what to make of it. Trump says a lot of dumb things on Truth Social. We've already seen he has no qualms in sending goons into US cities, so as batshit looney as it sounds, it wouldn't surprise me if this is his plan.

So, the solution is to round 'em up and ship 'em out? Do you approve of the government forcibly removing and sending people FAR from the capital?

Trump did not use those two words, but I think he made himself pretty clear. I give Trump credit for not being bashful about his intentions to acquire power and use it as his whims dictated during the 2024 campaign. When a Candidate for President tells his followers that they only have to vote for him one more time, and they won't have to bother again... You can't accuse him of being deceitful about his aspirations.

Really? Republican states don't have homeless people?

Your Defence Secretary is an alcoholic.

Freedoms guaranteed by your Constitution.

The solution requires two parts. 1. Zero-tolerance for illegal drugs. 2. Mandatory drug treatment. AKA prison.

You also mentioned alcoholics.

Should they be rounded up too?

The cities with the highest homeless population are: New York, LA, Chicago, Seattle and Denver. When one of those cities are run by conservative government? If you can't acknowledge even that much there's no point in even having a conversation. You got to own the problem if you ever want to fix it.

Poverty is not a crime.

Substance addiction is not a crime.

Trump promised to completely eliminate violent crime in DC. That's not possible and now he owns it.

Yeah. And if they don't want to go along with our program we can lock them up or exterminate them, right? Land of the free, home of the brave, and all that nonsense be damned.

I wonder how their backs are?

What do you think Trump’s name for the new American capital will be?

Busses to blue states, probably.

Yeah. And if they don't want to go along with our program we can lock them up or exterminate them, right? Land of the free, home of the brave, and all that nonsense be damned.
We have to balance personal freedom with self-destructive behavior. Generally in America you can do whatever you want as long as you don't hurt others. The problem with the homeless is the taxpayers are being hurt and poor solutions are making the problem worse, not better.

I assume he will start by putting himself in jail first.
