The 7 rich, spoiled rotten and immature white college girls from the suburbs arrested for riots tells a story not only about them, but their parents. When there was the "wall of mothers" - that most Democrats on this forum who commented cheered to women - claiming to be mothers of the vandals and rioters my thoughts were there are the most rotten mothers in the world - all who should be arrested for child abuse and for obstructing justice and the police.

Long ago, near here were two sets of shell islands out in the Gulf Of Mexico in an area called Orzello. There were no roads to those islands back then, reachable only by very short boat trips – rowing. Fishing, shrimping, clamming and scalloping were the primary industries. Low population, but needed a school.

So, do they put the school on the biggest island of the group to the North? Or the biggest island of the group to the South? Of course, each wanted it on their side.

So they compromised. They built the little one room wooden school for all grades on a tiny shell island in the middle between both, not much larger than the school itself. Neither side would get the school.

This was an era when parents didn't take their kids to school. So to get to school, each kid or kids in a family had to row a wooden row boat to school from 100 to 500 yards. This isn't lake water. Gulf Of Mexico water. Probably bull shark capital of the world. Hammerhead too. Plus lots of alligators. The water isn't smooth.

Think of this compared to today? Having a little child rowing a wooden boat alone and back in almost any weather in such dangerous remote and deadly waters?

What was the school boards stated position on this? This was the official statement of the school board – literally. “If a child can not be taught to row a boat by age 6 that child can not be educated.” One time we spoke to a very old woman who had gone to that school. She said she enjoyed rowing alone back and forth to school. Sure, the weather could be bad and the water rough. “But that was life and it was a good childhood.” She had nothing but fond memories of rowing back and forth to school. And, somehow, she ended up becoming a very, very wealthy woman - coming from a poor, remote fishing community and a 1 room schoolhouse on a little island.

She wasn't just rowing that boat across shark infested Gulf waters to a little schoolhouse. She was rowing toward a wonderful future because she was becoming ready to deal with anything - wisely.

Now? It is a crime if two 14 year olds want to use a 2 horsepower outboard motor on a jon boat on flat calm and shallow water river to go fishing. Back then an 8 year old could go hunting - alone - with a 22. Probably any rifle by age 10. Now? OMG! Even if 15.

Now children are coddled. Parents provide everything. If any chores, they are trivial. Never earned a dollar in their lives. They are sheltered, coddled, spoiled, and gain no life experience of adult matters –and then at 18 suddenly they are on their own – in college or not –with ZERO experience at self reliance, at being an adult. We see the results with spoiled rich suburban college girls dressing up in black wearing a mask and smashing windows in rioting – pretending they give a damn about black people as if they were former black slaves venting their anger.

No one ever taught them how to be adults. How to be mature. How to behave on their own. To provide for themselves. How to be an adult. Fully ill equipped. Not to be stupid and act stupidly. To not be total spoiled brat idiots likely to have continuous failed lives – blaming everyone and everything else for their failures – and now with criminal records having no clue THEY could EVER be arrested because mommy and daddy never enforced any rules whatsoever and always covered their asses.

There are almost no rioters than didn't have horrific lazy ass rotten parents who never taught their kids a damn thing. They put their kids out into the world fully crippled in maturity, knowledge, skills and psychologically.

Sadly, they also are voters with no sense of the real world. Victims of rotten parents and victims of their lazy ass, juvenile minded bum selves. Parents who coddle their kids are the worst enemies those kids have - their parents crippling them for life.

I feel sooooo sorry for those two young ladies.

They think that they are being sooooo cool in joining those protests and engaging in violence.

When they grow up and start having experiences in the real world of a rapidly changing America, they are going to hate themselves for having been involved in this year's anarchy.

And now our nation elected one of those rotten, coddles, spoiled child to be the "leader" of the nation. Kind of shows those kids if they keep being rotten and spoiled they will make it to the top.

Tl/dr but the spittle was evident enough....

This isn't the basement.

Tell the details you know of Trump's childhood.

Yeah, neither is it Boomer therapy. How is this political exactly? Or are you just wanting to shake your fist at clouds in peace?

You were one of those kids I'm writing about, aren't you? Will have a childish mind like your childish messages til the day you die. I am confident there is not one significant accomplishment you obtained you can tell in your entire life. You actually think acting like a malcontent brat is clever, don't you?

Take your immaturity to the basement - to your safe zone.

Maybe, maybe not. They may grow up to be extreme left wing liberals who advocate for socialist policies or even communist policies since they likely don't know the difference. Yeah, some parents are not doing a good job with teaching their kids anything about responsibility and consequences. The world can be cruel to stupid people.

First, tell me the intimate details of the 7 girl's childhood in your OP.

Can't. What I can point out is they, like Trump, grew up rich and white of rich white educated parents because they did tell of this.

When was Trump arrested? A rioter? He became a national celebrity and he became president despite zero experience as a politician.

What do you predict for those girl's futures? Think they are off to a good start as adults?

This is a particularly serious social topic.

What is more important to the nation and to us all then what the next generation of adults turns out to be, what they know and what the can and will do?

I guess kids who grow up with beatings are more likely to accept beatings from the police. Desensitization and all that.

I think they learned a lesson. It's up to them to either actually learn from it or not. Most of the time that type quickly realizes that life in the hood isn't what they think it's going to be lol. I'm sure they all have the best lawyers so it's not like they are going to get the same time as the other rioters. Better lesson to get arrested with the rioters and have access to good lawyers than get knocked up by the rioters.

I actually agree with you on this topic. The majority of parents I know do coddle their children and don't set them up to understand consequences in adult life. They may not be the rich type but they still spoil their kids, like how your 10 year old going to have a better phone than you? It's crazy.

Fred Trump is as responsible for the mess we are in as his ****bag son. Trump is the model of American capitalism: unearned wealth and lauded for being a crook.

Surviving a deadly pandemic.

Surviving a deadly pandemic.

This coming from one who thinks lil jail bride Kylie Rittenhouse is a hero, was well parented. And he thinks we should take him seriously?:lamo

If a person is going to accomplish anything significant as an adult, they will face far greater challenges.

My kid in the military, female, as a kid kayaked alone in those same waters many times. Alone. Her resume' is beyond belief. And maybe that and similar experiences saved her and others lives. In rough Gulf water where weather can change quickly, now and then a kayak will be capsized in those waters. It taught to think and act fast - and the worse than worthless value of panic.

That kayaking may have saved her and the entire crew in the military - and probably twice. Once when their aircraft was stuck on the ground - remotely - and they came under attack by charging "enemy" with AKs and mortars. All they had was 9mm side arms and her the only one with a marksmen medal. The Marines weren't going to get to them in time. Panic broke out. Do they suffer the fate as captives - tortured and then murdered on You Tube? Or suicide?

She did not panic. She thought of a unique solution in seconds. And the end of the story is they killed all them. Got a commendation and promotion out of it. In combat many times in Afghanistan and Iraq - and a few other placedsthat can't be mentioned - she has faced far, far worse than bull sharks and alligators with a blast stick. They're a piece of cake by comparison. Dodging and dealing with bull sharks and alligators is much easier than ducking and dealing with S300s, AKs and mortars - usually by counter attacking. Kill the shark and it can't kill you. Kill the enemy and they can't kill you.

It's not easy being one of our children. But we raise superstars unto themselves such as they wish to be as adults. Her? 2 Bachelors degrees and a Masters. Flying up the ranks. Is apply to Harvard law school. She'll get in. "Bull sharks and alligators challenges" in adult life? No problem.

Didn’t Kyle Rittenhouse’s mom drive him to his mass murder field trip?

Interesting story...tell me how you come down on voting for President Bone Spurs again?

I'm not going to talk smack about your daughter, I actually admire people who serve their country, and that goes beyond academics and anonymous internet debating. But what you're saying sounds a little like "Unless you've driven a '72 cuda through an explosive fireball, being chased by horde of nuclear machine gun wielding vikings, you're not going to be able to get your driver's license".

Lighten up, bud. I get that you think you and yours are great, and they may be, but human progress has always been measured in comfort and safety. Your preferred type of tough guys are only occasionally useful, and usually under less than ideal conditions. If I'm hiring, I'm always taking the person who is smart and can get along, over the "alpha" jackass that might be able to beat me in arm wrestling, but has no ability to exist in a normal, non-militant team. If they happen to be both, well, I'm hiring them for the former, and asking them to keep the latter in check. The world you're describing has been gone for at least twenty five years.
