They don’t happen because there are no late term Abortion clinics in Oregon.I said that Oregon allows abortions up until birth, that is a full term abortion.
Oregon has one of the the most permissive abortion laws in the nation, with no restrictions and no term limit requirements. By the way, abortios were free in Oregon paid for by the taxpayers of Oregon. ( not sure that is still the case)
Yet , Oregon has no abortion clinics that perform abortions past 24 weeks.
If an Oregon woman needs a clinic abortion past 24 weeks she has to travel to one of the 3 clinics in another state for her abortion.
From a list of the abortion clinics in Oregon:
Zero of the Planned Parenthoods provide surgical abortions past 14 weeks.
One PP abortions up to 9 weeks.
One clinic up to 12 weeks
Two clinics provide abortions up to 14 weeks.
All together 5 Clinics that only provide medical abortions ( abortion pills ) up to 9 weeks pregnancy.
There are two non Planned Parenthoods abortion clinics that provide abortions past 14 weeks.
One non Planned Parenthood up to 20.5 weeks
And another clinic ( not affiliated with Planned Parenhood ) up to 24 weeks.
Stats from my post a year ago.
Canada is the only nation with absolutely no legal restrictions to access abortion services
If they are banning it at any stage, it's unconstitutional. But none of that says they are illegal at any stage. Better read the Act.
