I am working my way through many of RLT’s books, the last year or so. My mother read to me a bunch as a child. I know one of those books was “Journey to Matecumbe.” I’ve read it at least twice since then. Disney tried a movie that wasn’t very good. I read “Travels With Jamie McPheeter(s) and will probably read it again. It was a short lived TV series in the early 1960s. Some of his books are better than others, but I like his writing style. He peppers his books with actual historical characters and works them into his narrative. Anyone else read any of his books?
