It all started on Monday, with reports of letters that Mr. Priebus sent to CNN and NBC informing them that they would not be allowed to sponsor any 2016 primary debates if they aired a planned miniseries (NBC) or documentary (CNN) about the one person the G.O.P. hates and fears as much or more than President Obama — Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Republicans telling the Networks what they should and should not air ..........spoken like a true communist!!

Remember I started a thread asking people here on the right... if they would like to move in Russia .....here's more reason for that question.
You guys have all the tendencies .....put republicans back in the WH and you people may pass laws to wire our bedrooms!!

The CON ....in conservatives ....has always been preaching about freedom and liberty.

There was a time in our history, not long ago, that we had laws about equal time for political candidates. That's long gone. Shouldn't be.

Unfortunately, in principle NBC and CNN would probably be happy not to air GOP debates. They only do it to help their ratings (which isn't working). What needs to happen is they should be forced to provide equal time for GOP hopefuls in the same prime time slots. Does anyone now who is sponsoring these shows?

Waiting for the inevitable accusation that the GOP is violating the first amendment rights of the networks.

Ok, I have to laugh at this little gem from the editorial;

"On one level, Mr. Priebus is right. Debate moderators have not been people whose interest was promoting the Republicans or their nominees. They have been journalists whose interest was in asking questions dispassionately." :lamo:lamo:lamo Right.

It is truely shocking that the head of the RNC would have a partisan agenda and object to stations airing a promotional "documentary" for a likely democratic presidential candidate. ;)

Yeah, because, you know, Dems would never do such a thing.

The White House Press Office has refused to give the Boston Herald full access to President Obama’s Boston fund-raiser today, in e-mails objecting to the newspaper’s front page placement of a Mitt Romney op-ed, saying pool reporters are chosen based on whether they cover the news “fairly.”
Where it all began: » Mitt Romney: Obama Misery Index hits a record high
“I tend to consider the degree to which papers have demonstrated to covering the White House regularly and fairly in determining local pool reporters,” White House spokesman Matt Lehrich wrote in response to a Herald request for full access to the presidential visit.

“My point about the op-ed was not that you ran it but that it was the full front page, which excluded any coverage of the visit of a sitting US President to Boston. I think that raises a fair question about whether the paper is unbiased in its coverage of the President’s visits,” Lehrich wrote.

Isn't that their reason for existence!? :)

Touché'

Bwaahaahaa!

Trust me. It'll make no difference. Shills like him will make excuses for why the administration's actions were much holier and righteous.

The only thing that leaves the Right is the Fox News echo chamber. Remember how bad Karl Rove, Dick Morris and some of the other Fox people missed with their predictions last time? It was a slaughter:

Obama 332
Romney 206

Right now with early bull**** like this they're headed right back to another ass kicking. It's hard to understand why anyone in their right mind would protest a biography or documentary of anyone in the world a full 3 years and 3 months before an election.

This is unfair by the RNC. NBC already signed Kathy Bates to play the current version of Hillary.

You don't think a cnn moderator jumping in to defend the president on Benghazi showed a little bias?

LMAO!! Anything that is ever reported by Fox news would put that little episode on the back burner. Sean Hannity is a living bare faced lie.

Not going to work. Kathy Bates is a more realistic choice.

And there you see the difference in a Republican view and a Democrat. The Republican election analysts(Karl Rove & Dick Morris) predicted that Mitt Romney would be the 45th president of the U S. One of them said the election wouldn't even be close...........he got that part right.

Name one thing that comes close to that? Not to mention that every time a mass murder happens they all immediately blame conservatives when it usually turns out to be either a Muslim a lefty or a nut.

In the interview Mr Priebus said that he wants "Republican Friendly" moderators to moderate the Republican debate(because apparently NBC entertainment division showing a movie somehow taints the NBC New division). Apparently Mr Preibus realizes, rightly so the Republican candidates would foil and crumble before any neutral moderators and they only can handle people who will throw the softball question.

What is so funny about all this is that, these are the people who are jockeying for one of the most difficult and high pressure jobs in the world and yet they can't even face their own "news Media" without crumbling.

No wonder only less than 19% of Americans associate themselves with the republicans party. Who want to hang around with these cowards!

They all are shills these days - I find even partial balance rare.

I have just learned to filter the bias out - like all other communications everywhere in life.

One thing for sure.....the Republicans make sure the nuts can get easy access to an assault weapon of their choice....one with a hundred clip. 40% of the weapons which change hands in this country are exchanged in the parking lots at gun shows and there's no way to know who has them and who doesn't.

What does that have to do with this? Nothing. You just prove a point I made in an earlier post. Democrats are total sycophants towards "their"leaders.
