I noticed too.
Unnervingly for me, all in their mid/late sixties.
Talented individual. I loved the solo song he did for the theme for Thelma and Louise, "Part of Me, Part of You." And he his song, "You Belong to the City" that they used in Miami Vice, and he even had a guest shot on the show playing a bush pilot.
Thanks and RIP.
Eagles during the Hotel California tour was the first concert I ever saw. I was all of 15. I still remember it as one of the best shows I've ever seen of the hundreds I've been to after that.
Didn't realize it until I saw the Eagles documentary a couple of weeks ago that Frey and Henley were probably the most successful US popular music writing team and second only to Lennon and McCartney.
Colitus. Damn. Who dies of that? And still a relatively young man.
Great songwriter, wonderful singer. RIP. Another from my youth gone.
