Legendary Baltimore Orioles manager Earl Weaver has died today aboard a cruise ship on the Caribbean Sea. RIP Earl, one of the all time greats! As an Orioles fan, and a baseball fan in general, you will be missed.

They don't make them like Earl anymore.

Well, I love Showalter, he's a great manager, but I mean personality-wise Guillen is the most like Weaver these days. Showalter is really nothing at all like Weaver, he's much more cool and calm.

Personality-wise Guillen is an idiot. Weaver was not an idiot, he picked his battles. Weaver and Showalter espouse the same style of baseball. And Buck gives a good show when arguing but you'll never find a Weaver type of event.. But Buck is very good at choosing his battles.
