The whole title didn’t fit but here it is:

Breaking: Rioting erupts after Minneapolis police accused of shooting and killing suspect — they say video shows he killed himself

Looting and rioting broke out in Minneapolis, Minnesota, again after the police were accused of shooting and killing another black man, but they say video shows that he committed suicide.

Breaking: Rioting erupts after Minneapolis police accused of shooting and killing suspect — they say video shows he killed himself - TheBlaze

Sounds reasonable. And yes, this is from the Blaze but there’s actual video and stuff.

SMDH.... I guess anything can be used as a viable excuse for the peaceful protesters to loot now.

WA. Examiner is also reporting on this story. I'd imagine even the anti-LE leftist media is avoiding this incidence because it doesn't quite jive with their phony narrative.

It was rather amazing to see the guy shoot himself, see the cops run up and then hear a witness ask why they shot him. I mean, DAMN!!! How bought in to this anti-cop narrative can people actually get?

I have no issue with the Blaze. They may be obviously biased, but at least they show their receipts over a majority of the time.

It's the presence of a mob mentality, without full need of the mob.

So it's no surprise that this kind of thing was going to happen eventually. I just hope the democrats are smart enough than to try and capitalize off of it.

Let's stop pretending that these riots are actually about stopping systemic racism or improving the lives of marginalized people. Can we do that DP?

I used to think it was bad enough that the cop hating crowd didn’t care about any of the circumstances surrounding a police shooting other than the race of the person shot, now they don’t even need the cops to do the shooting to condemn them for it.

Clearly The Blaze and Washington Examiner got together and completely made this up.

I can hardly wait for all the “media bias fact check” links to start appearing.

The whole BLM "racist police" narrative has been a lie from day one. It's nothing more than an excuse to loot, hurt people and destroy everything in sight. Can you blame that woman/girl for saying that? When you have the entire democratic party giving them their silent blessing, and democratic mayors and governors refusing to stop them, she was just taking advantage of the opportunity that the democrats are handing them.

Here's the video footage for anyone interested:

My guess is that because so many videos around the country of police using brutal/lethal force and lying about it until video emerges, many people have simply begun assuming that all police related homicides that are high profile are like that, video be damned.

This happens on the other side, too. Eric Garner was murdered on the streets and police lied about how they dog piled on him, until the video emerged proving that was merely a cover-up story for the public, but the police defenders that stuck to defending the NYPD.

Then you had Rayshard Brooks who actively fought the police to disarm them, where he was the one who escalated the matter to life and death, and you had BLM and police critics defending Brooks and standing by it being unjustified despite the video.

People need to jump to conclusions and let the videos speak for themselves, whatever it might show, IMHO.

Two things can be true.

1. Not all people killed or harmed by police were victims.
2. Police often lie and use excessive force, and put out cover stories.

You can tell that he chambers a round with his back turned as nearby witnesses raise their hands and back off. Then puts the gun under his chin and seems to brace for it. There's no question this was a suicide.

I chalk up 2020 as a black swan year were everything is topsy turvy upside down. There is supposed to be a meteor strike the day before the election. I wouldn't be surprised if it happened, and then aliens landed on the White House lawn at this point who turned out to be dolphins coming to earth to catch a few waves and stock up on fish. "Like Cowabunga dude! Hang 10!" :coffeepap:aliens3:

Oh, well that makes it ok then s

Deflection noted but the vast difference which you conveniently left out is that those of us who are generally pro law enforcement don’t riot and break stuff when an officer it injured or even killed.

How unsurprising you’d justify and deflect. Want to pay any lip service at all in the perils of reacting violently without having all the facts?

These BLM Marxist terrorists will use anything, absolutely anything, as an excuse to continue their attempts to burn down this nation, sadly.

Want a cookie? When a cop gets killed they get bag pipes and a parade throughout the town, and the community rally's to support their family if they're destitute. Meanwhile, 99% of cops walk no matter how damning a video might be of their abuse, and they rally round in each other, and project total impunity for their actions.

How unsurprising you’d justify and deflect.
How unsurprising you'd build up a man of straw and attack the motives of someone trying to find common agreement.

Right, a funeral is just the same as rioting and looting. What would you rather see when an officer is killed? Their dead bodies drug in the street?

How unsurprising you'd build up a man of straw and attack the motives of someone trying to find common agreement.

Lol, yes, the best way to seek common ground is to encourage people to jump to conclusions about cops.

Oh yeah? How do we know the racist/corrupt cops didn’t use a little CGI magic to make it look like a suicide (I hope the sarcasm is obvious)?

To the member above who said he sees a pattern. Yes. This is all by design because in order to turn this country into something it was never meant to be its institutions that made it great have to be destroyed.

My thoughts and prayers are with all those who have lost their livelihoods, their businesses they put everything into and lost it all because of those whose violence across the country robbed them of all they had worked toward. I pray the people wake up and see the truth and stop being sheeple.

Criticizing your single-minded determination to defend all police killings of civilians is not "justify and deflect."

Your narrative is as ugly as it is dishonest. There are plenty of completely unjustified killings.

What are you doing? Trying to indirectly defend them all by parading a non-killing or justified killing. Disgusting, but expected.

Maybe the police shouldn't always lie to try to cover for themselves when it's an unjustified killing? Maybe then people might trust them more.

Exactly. Decades of police lying about fearing for their lives, and otherwise lying about misconduct and abuse in their official reports, has led to half the community simply not believing any official statements from their departments anymore.

That's something that X Factor and LEO apologists simply refuse to acknowledge, since doing so would be an admission of the corrupt culture within LEO they created and enabled.

3. And both justified and wholly unjustified shootings have absolutely nothing to do with race.

When the police lose control of a black neighborhood blacks loot stores. It does not require a perceived injustice. It happened after Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans in 2005. It also happened in Manhattan during the 1977 blackout.
