Right wingers watch this, and cheer, SHUTTING DOWN them tricky libs. They want all those illegals, and dead Dems voting Biden, on MAILINS.

So making us hazard a pandemic gauntlet to vote, will result in Republicans, trained to believe it is all a lib hoax, showing up like the sheep they are. Dems on the other hand, will fear the REALITY. That many right wingers will go to the polls without mask. And I foresee MANY coughing and hacking, to threaten those there to vote.

Trump is literally going back to the buggy whip generation. Using HAND sorting of our mails, and SCRAPPING the sorting machines that have made all our postal regularity possible.

Trump is ruining things, and injecting poisin, into ANYWHERE that will gain him an unfair advantage. And the right wing cheers. They dont care how, they just want their power to sustain, BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.

Sticking it to the libs, was what got Trump elected, and that ethos will be even more fevered, when Trump loses power. Scorched earth will be the aim, and the right wing will cheer.

Postal Service: Michigan deadlines for mail-in voting might disqualify some ballots

The U.S. Postal Service has warned Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson that mail delivery timelines pose "significant risk" to ballots sent too close to Election Day and that could lead to their disqualification.

USPS General Counsel Thomas J. Marshall wrote to Benson that Michigan election laws and certain deadlines for requesting and casting mail-in ballots are “incongruous” and “incompatible” with the Postal Service's delivery standards.

"This mismatch creates a risk that ballots requested near the deadline under state law will not be returned by mail in time to be counted under your laws as we understand them," Marshall wrote in a letter a week before a primary election that saw record absentee participation in Michigan.

He added the Postal Service "cannot adjust its delivery standards to accommodate state election law."

TRUMP’S POSTAL SERVICE MEDDLING COULD BLOW UP THE ELECTION

As the president attacks mail-in voting, the agency—now run by a Trump donor—is experiencing worrisome backlogs ahead of the November election. “I fear we are bracing for disaster,” says one expert.

The new policies—which include ending overtime pay, forcing mail carriers to leave items behind to avoid extra trips, and shutting down sorting machines early—have already led to backlogs, sources told the Post. If the problems persist into November, it could result in delays in processing the record absentee ballots that are expected to be cast in the election—something that could undermine the integrity of the election, and possibly public trust in the results. Given Trump’s anti-democratic attacks on voting, this hardly seems accidental. “Even as we sit here, there are those in power who are doing their darndest to discourage people from voting,” former President Barack Obama said in a rousing eulogy for the late civil rights hero and longtime congressman John Lewis on Thursday. “[They are] attacking our voting rights with surgical precision, even undermining the postal service in the run-up to an election that’s going to be dependent on mail-in ballots so people don’t get sick.”

Clearly why there shouldn't be a second stimuls check. I would hate for mine to be delivered to the Registrar by mistake.
