An interesting video testing the age old comparisons of military rifles with some unexpected results.

The AKs are not really as dirt and mud resistent as is usually claimed... they are as susceptable to mud in the chamber as the rest...
The M14 is as bad as ever...
Pretty much everything else passes all but the most absurd mud tests.
It would seem that the angle of the ejection port is just as important as the action when it comes to fouling the rifle, with the upward angled AK ports falling victim to gravity dropping mud into the action during ejection while the side ejecting ARs lack the force necessary to eject through caked on mud.
