Richardson to legalize medical marijuana

New Mexico is about to be the first state to legalize medical marijuana. The bill passed congress, and Governor Bill Richardson is about to sign it into law. This action could possibly set off one of the biggest constitutional battles in US history. Just how far is the Federal Government willing to take its failed war on drugs? We will find out very soon.

Also, the feds are already prosecuting people (who are using legal medical marijuana) in states that have legalized it. Buncha BS.

Well, MHO is marijauana should be legalized so that it can suck the profits away from drug dealers. It's a long established fact that it is not an addictive plant. Hell, look at tobacco. We should put our efforts on combating addictive sh!t like crack and those drugs that make people so addictive to them that they would kill and rob to get them.

****. We're already in hell in a handbasket. To tell you the truth. I wish they would set up clinics to give these people all the d@mn drugs they want. Let them line their sorry @sses up for their shots of whatever. Give it to them. Give it to them until they drop dead from it. It's better than us average citizens that are trying to make an honest living being victimized by them. The worst thing I've witnessed recently was an old 80 something year old woman that woke up in the middle of a 20 degree night because her furnace stopped working. Turns out someone cut her line to steal her oil and let the rest run out on the ground. This woman could not afford another $750 to refill her tank.

Next time someone tells you that weed is the cause of their problems, don't let them pull the wool over your eyes. You should remind them that they are the source of their own problems and they should quit blaming it on inanimate objects. Isn't personal responsibility considered a virtue to conservatives like yourself?
