Independent presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr has said he wants to create tech-free “wellness farms” for those struggling with addiction to “reparent” them away from using both legal and illegal drugs.

The anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist took part in a live recording of the Latino Capitalist podcast during a virtual “Latino Town Hall” last week when he shared his idea for new addiction treatment programs for “addicts” using opiates, but also antidepressants, and ADHD medication.

The independent and former Democrat suggested that the government should send people struggling with addiction for up to three or four years to farms growing organic food.

Looks like citizens with depression issues could be used to fill the void filled by deported migrant workers? How crazy can things get? If you take antidepressants this sounds really scary that you could be put into a work camp for it.

That may work for some, but I would not think it possible as a one-size-fits-all.
 
Is anyone thinking that this is going to end well:
JFK - we need to create wellness farms to help treat and heal addicts
Trump - Addicts? Just deport them, lock them up, or shoot them. We ain't spending money on them, Just get them out of my sight!

If they start with rounding up opiod addicts in Appalachia, West Virginia and other nearby states would lose a significant chunk of their population.

But the rest of us would be knee deep in organic produce.
 
China does this type of thing.

Unfortunate as it is people have the right to be addicted to substances. The biggest addictions: nicotine, followed closely by alcohol.
