I don't believe I'm a standard for competence in these matters. However, my choice would be someone who passes my litmus test that Trump himself fails.

I'm not 100% sure what that purpose is. There seems to be a pattern to his appointments, but it doesn’t interest me enough to spend much time thinking about it.
