Crossbows that could hit anywhere in the world and locusts with the faces of men were once the stuff of low fantasy. Yet in modern times we seem to read much more into the text of this book: intercontinental ballistic missiles, drones with video monitors and less-than-lethal weapons, the destruction of privacy online.I then considered it as merely the ravings of a Maniac, no more worthy, nor capable of explanation than the incoherences of our own nightly dreams... I cannot so far respect them as to consider them as an allegorical narrative of events, past or subsequent. there is not coherence enough in them to countenance any suite of rational ideas... what has no meaning admits no explanation... I do not consider them as revelations of the supreme being, whom I would not so far blaspheme as to impute to him a pretension of revelation, couched at the same time in terms which, he would know, were never to be understood by those to whom they were addressed.
White Horse 2020-2030.5.Thomas Jefferson famously described the Revelation of John:

If someone drew a map in the year 1400, and then, upon discovering Florida, people noticed numerous points of similarity, they would think perhaps he had actually been to Florida.
Prophecies are notoriously and justifiably vague, and matching them to current events seems like a never-ending exercise in creativity for all involved. This is not an accident. Precognition will show you exactly what is going to happen, with regret, as it might not have happened that way if you hadn't seen it: it's a disease and a crime. But prophecy reveals some bold outline of the higher intent and purpose behind the plot of the universe, while leaving it to the free will of people to fill in the details, and so it is not malicious. But somewhere between future and past we start to say the prophecy might have been fulfilled just so, even if we aren't really qualified.Black Horse 4000.

For what it's worth, the way I would try to fit this together is that the Jehovah's Witnesses got the date of the Rapture right ... they just didn't want to see what it was. Not happy good people soaring into the sky on a way to a Heaven in space after all. The Armenian genocide was quoted by Hitler as proof that the genocide of the Jews would go unopposed. What they have in common is that Aramaic speakers call Yeshua by name, and Jews write the Tetragrammaton as it appears in the text. "All those who call on the name of the Lord", in other words. I think the main point of the story was that people like little Anne Frank, ascending in a whirlwind from the smokestack of Auschwitz, met the Lord in the air.
Each of the seals is an illusion; each time one breaks it is a revelation. But virtue is based on illusion. When Mychal Judge stood praying over the "suicides" who leapt from the World Trade Center, they were people who took their best hope for survival, and who, I personally think, don't really need Last Rites to be eligible for heaven. But that is not to say it wasn't an act of martyrdom - not suicide - for him to go in there. Perhaps he will be beatified; why not?
The First Seal was a virtue of obedience ... the loyal King's Man with his positive law. But when roughly 144,000 people who called on the name of the Lord were saved, the world saw that Law is Crime.
The Second Seal was a virtue of the warrior ... the ferocious pursuit of a cause in the hope that God would show support for the victor. But people built tens of thousands of nuclear weapons, to prevent nuclear war. Now we know that War is Peace - our entire hope for physical safety lies on the ability to destroy most of the world in under fifteen minutes. Every now and then there is a test, and the rocket's red glare gallops across the sky.
The Third Seal was the virtual of the worker ... when all else in the world is mad, chop another tree, sell another vacuum cleaner, bring home money to your children. A vision of civilian virtue. But now there is environmental devastation, and AI can do the work, and we are reaching the point where Work is Uselessness. Famine - not a famine but the Famine - stalks Gaza on black horses of the IDF, where the black market rates for food actually match the biblical prediction.
Mark 13:32-33 KJV
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Pipe down. You don't know and you won't know.
Yeah, no.
True and that is why Jesus gave us signs to look out for...Mark 13:32-33 KJV

Benches are hand-crafted from the finest mahogany wood by primitive Amazonian tribesmen.
He also sells Islamic 'praying mats' (big seller!) as well as statues of Buddha, rosary beads, necklaces with crosses and other various religious goodies.
He's making enough money now to build his own mansion with a paved golden driveway in which he parks his collection of gold-plated Corvettes and an exact replica of the Popemobile. He keeps the Bentleys and Rolls-Royces in a separate storage facility.
He's now got his city permit to build an addition/expansion to the store in which he will be selling all things "Prophetic". (Grand Opening date on new addition pending)
Sunday blessings to your and yours, "bro".
Here you go, "bro". I'm currently 'test driving' this one, but it will need some additional customizations. I'm thinking a small fridge attachment hidden in the side wall for adult beverages, as well as a couple of cup holders for 'wafers' and 'sacrificial wine'.thanks Logic. and please send a picture of yur new Mourner's bench

Ah, yes. Good ole Aron Seaborn. One of my all time favorite authors. I cried like a baby all 32 times I've read "THE MOURNERS' BENCH".
I'm organizing a big Mourner's Bench donation drive to give to a home that takes care of the frail and elderly, Rev. That one would be too rough and painful on their old, brittle heinies. Bur thanks for the look/see. It's an absolutely beautiful apparatus, bro.

Sounds fantastic to me personally, Rev, but the potential converts I'm helping aren't "Country" people and would only start laughing at a grown adult who would try to convince them by "foot stompin'. They may even leave the facility out of fearing for their personal safety. Remember, these fine folks are old and frail and not receptive to what amounts to throwing a childish tantrum.this is out in the Country, log cabin Meetin Houses, with circuit riding Methodist Preachers of yore. foot stompin, sawdust trail and weeks of hot summer Revival preaching till we chase the devil out of everyone in the County.

Not to worry. Rev. I jetted that bad advice as soon as I read it. I don't want to act foolishly and traumatize a potential convert. I love and respect the vulnerable elderly.forget foot stompin Logic
