And who were the people doing the damage? Were they legitimate protesters whom one would fairly assume were LW or at least involved in a LW cause? Those doing the damage could have been RW. They could have been neither and just thugs. You don't know. Or, as you say, personal observation is the best tell so you tell me and how you can tell exactly what were the politics of these vandals/rioters/thugs?
