The honeymoon would appear to be over.

Yesterday's Reuters Poll would seem to confirm last Thursday's Gallop Poll, which also showed unhappiness & disapproval with the President's failure to lower Inflation & bring prices down.

In fact, the majority of Americans now believe the President will worsen Inflation and the economy.
 
weird. so far his focus has been on tariffs which increase inflation. and laying off people to increase unemployment. Those are two huge economic measures that people see, as opposed to the deficit which gets a lot less attention.
 
As more and more polls begin to show Trump's popularity flagging, we'll begin to see an uptick in MAGA claiming the polls to be "fake news" and a "MSM plot" to destroy America. MAGA who previously started threads showing positive Trump polling will quickly switch to claiming that polls do not actually matter. Count on it.
 
One thing Trump can't lie about is actual inflation and the economy. He can fudge the numbers and lie about the situation but this is one area the public knows the truth, lives the truth.
 
No amount of Musk threats to primary will solve the economy.

They want to do a 5k stimulus to people. Which according to the right caused our current mess
 
They can't govern and the American people are going to see it again.
A tax cuts won't help them.
A 5k stimulus would short term but long term it won't. Its a gimmick.

Oh, but he can. Remember that Trump has installed loyalists all across the government, and we can expect them to start “cooking the books” on the monthly reports regarding the economy. Nothing comes out of the Trump government that is not undergirded by blatant lies.
 
Yes he can but my point is it is the one area the lies won't work.

Inflation is dropping like a rock, grocery prices are falling, the price of gas is headed down.

A $5K stimulus would actually worsen inflation, as will the tariffs. I think one of the biggest thing people are dissatisfied with Trump about is that since he began his term, he hasn't focused on the economy at all.

He began backing off the Economy focus before he took the oath of office.

But he has gone golfing multiple times already.

He should focus on lower prices on day 1 like he promised instead. Everything he’s done so far seems to intentionally raise prices and inflation as well as cause chaos and instability. Voters should hold him to it when all he says it’s easy but still can’t deliver.

He can because he isn't making any of these decisions or driving the actions domestically. It is being executed 100% by Vought and Musk.

Trump is left to play by himself with foreign policy and look at the mess already!!! He is safer on the golf course
 
How can the poor man focus on the Economy when he is so busy playing his important golf.


Certainly glad he is pacing himself.

Also, my friends, remember that every trip he makes down to Mar-A-Lago so he can go golfing with his rich buddies, at his nearby clubs, costs the American Taxpayers $3.6 MILLION DOLLARS a pop.
