Reuters/Ipsos poll shows Biden leads Trump nationally, but race much tighter in key states

Then you are in the minority. Swallow some bleach. - Trump's dea of how to deal with the coronavirus. And many did just that. Like the Trumpite who killed himself by swallowing fish tank cleaner because it contained Trump's touted hydroxychloroquine. Madness.
If Biden had been in charge, our deaths per cases would be in the double digits, like the UK’s. Especially because he would not have imposed travel restrictions to and from China, which bought hospitals valuable time.

HCQ misinformation is one reason we had more deaths than necessary. CNN was obsessed with it being “snakeoil,” when it could have saved thousands of lives, had physicians and patients been allowed to make the decision themselves.

The liberal media needed the additional cases and deaths.

Indeed, saw a good one on reddit about that...

Trump’s current approval rating is four or five points higher than his favorability was in November 2016.

Trump’s favorability is up to 46% per the new NYT poll, and up to 45% per the new ABC poll. So now we’re talking 7 or 8 points higher than his favorability was in 2016.

And even if you do disapprove of Trump (which many people don’t), you’re forgetting what the alternative is.

It's hard to understand why you support a liar.

Biden lied 5 or 6 times during the CNN town hall. Per an ABC fact check.

Downplaying the virus to prevent panic is justified, if that’s what you’re referring to. This was during a time period when we had very few cases, there were no consequences to anyone’s health at the time.

Trump did more than just "down play" he literally called the virus a hoax and did nothing

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The U.S. presidential race is much closer than national surveys suggest, according to Reuters/Ipsos opinion polls in battleground states that show Democrat Joe Biden with only a slim lead over President Donald Trump in three highly competitive states and in a dead heat in three others.

The online state polls, conducted earlier in September and released this week, found Biden and Trump tied among likely voters in Florida and North Carolina. Biden led by 1 percentage point in Arizona, 3 points in Pennsylvania and 5 points in Wisconsin and Michigan.

All six are critical to determining who wins the Nov. 3 election, given their population size and potential to swing to either party. In each of the states, the difference between the two candidates was near or within the poll’s sampling error, meaning that neither candidate has a clear advantage.

It will be interesting to see how the debates change any of these poll numbers.

Yes, it's very important for you to get out and vote and vote on election day. Not only yourself, but remind your friends and family to vote too. And tell them to remind their friends.

lol.

1. Deaths: based on what? Something you pulled out of your rear?

2. China: based on what? The fact that Trump ordered you to allege without evidence that Biden is somehow cozy with China?

3. HCQ does not help, and increases likelihood of death in severe cases. So where'd you get that? Also your rear?

PS:

Jan. 22: On whether he was worried about a pandemic: “No, we’re not at all. And we have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China.”

Jan. 29: “Just received a briefing on the Coronavirus in China from all of our GREAT agencies, who are also working closely with China. We will continue to monitor the ongoing developments. We have the best experts anywhere in the world, and they are on top of it 24/7!”

Jan. 30: “We think we have it very well under control. We have very little problem in this country at this moment — five. And those people are all recuperating successfully. But we’re working very closely with China and other countries, and we think it’s going to have a very good ending for it. So that I can assure you.”

Feb. 7: “Nothing is easy, but [Chinese President Xi Jinping] … will be successful, especially as the weather starts to warm & the virus hopefully becomes weaker, and then gone.”

So if Joe Biden were potus, federalism is no longer in effect and it’s no longer bLuE sTAte governors and mayors? It’s on the potus?

Huh. it’s almost like you guys just argue whatever you need to in order to defend Trump. Almost.

I have used this a billion times. Trump is *literally* LITERALLY using CCP talking points with the AMerican people throughout February.

I'm in PA, and I am extremely cautious, but it's safe to say the Philly dem turnout will be higher this time.
Why would you think it’s safe to say that? The Biden / Harris ticket isn’t exactly exciting people.

Because Trump has been president for 4 years.
Black dems weren't excited about Hillary. BLM, the protests, and Trump's reaction to them, will no doubt have to be considered a driving factor for increased turnout.

LOL Look at the trough in that Hillary graph!!

Fast foward to October 17, 2016, when Hillary was up 7.1.

Also, note that there are two current Trump/Biden polls which include third party candidates.

ABC, with third party candidate choices included, has Biden up 6.

Quinnipiac, with third party candidate choices included, has Biden up 5.

Meaning using only current polls which include third party candidates, Biden is up 5.5.

Harvard-Harris was just released.

They have Biden up by 2.

I”m sorry this isn‘t even a little like 2016, Reub. :(

???

The entire point of your post was comparing 2020 to 2016 lol.

You produced a graph comparing Biden’s lead today with Hillary’s on this exact date.

I think you’re losing it.

Yes, the point of that comparison, good word Reub, the point of that COMPARISON was to demonstrate how futile it was for you to cling to the fantasy that 2016 is gonna ride in on a white horse to save the day.

Trump is just a garbage president and the country doesn’t care about your shy trump voter who doesnt exist.

Lol sounds like you want Trump to win here.

Harvard/Harris has Biden up by 2.

This is Harvard University's Center for Political Studies. Not Rasmussen.

It was never a race. Hasn’t been from day one. It’s actually been a really boring, stable lead for Sleepy Joe Hiden

Lol are you being sarcastic?

ABC, one of the most liberal news sources out there, has Biden up by 6 when third party candidates are included.

Monmouth, which had Biden up by 12 at one point, now has him up by 5.

Yahoo News/YouGuv has Biden's margin down from +10 to +5.

New York Times, given it's the NYT, has Biden's margin down from +14 to +8.

As far as the coronavirus pandemic, Trump has demonstrated that he is incompetent as dealing with it. Does he make you feel safe?

Our deaths per cases is 2.9%.
Yes.

Nearly 3.0% of the people that get this die, with the number of cases is climbing and this is your argument that you feel safer? Forgive me, but that makes no sense. You think a 3.0% death rate from an out of control virus is a measure of safety? That is just nonsensical.

Remember when they were *bragging* about it ”just* being 10x deadlier than the flu?
