Hello 1/6 Committee, please give this retired judge a chance at an interview. Including his during the coming live interviews would be educational. ;)

Beyond calling witnesses, people close to the committee have told CBS News that video presentations of evidence will also be part of the more public phase of the probe.

Luttig, who served on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, is widely regarded as a top legal mind and is also a favorite of conservatives. During George W. Bush's presidency, he was considered a leading contender for a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court.

He also has links to key Jan. 6 figures: Sen. Ted Cruz, a Texas Republican who advocated for a congressional commission to study voter fraud, and conservative lawyer John Eastman, who closely advised Trump on how to block the certification of Biden's election and push it back to the states, are both former Luttig clerks.

I'm all for as much testimony as possible from all concerned.

What must it be like to be an American who votes and still defends the Republican's actions on January 6th and still promote America's Hitler? Or even pretend it's all not a big deal.

How do these new confederates sleep at night? Like the old ones did?

Why wouldn't he be allowed to be interviewed. I see no reason why someone's choice to do so should be removed from them.

"Leading conservative” LOL. A George H.W. Bush appointee who had been with Boeing for 13 years before retiring in 2019 in connection with the Boeing 737 MAX groundings. The liberal dominated media loves to make RINO enemies of Trump look like the best conservatives since Ronald Reagan. This wolf in sheep's clothing just exposed himself as part of the coup against our real duly elected president, Donald J. Trump.

Luttig was appointed by George W Bush.

Berfore that he clerked for Antonin Scalia.

After that, John Eastman clerked for him.

He worked on the Reagan White House too.

Conservative lawyers represent corporate interests.

Clarence Thomas represented Monsanto.

I agree. It's up to the 1/6 Committee to invite him to a public interview.

What role, in part, has Judge Luttig played with any alleged coup against DJT?

I'm all for it, but have no confidence it will make any difference when

1) 1/3 of Americans think Jan 6 was a hoax/staged by ANTIFA/just a handful of naughty good ol' boys who got a little out of hand;
2) Prominent GOP figures from Trump on down who have a vested interest in sweeping the events of the day under the rug will do everything in their power to stunt or stop the investigation; and
3) Democrats ability to take a slam dunk and FUBAR it is maddeningly consistent.
