Isn't it heartbreaking to see these images of a clapped out old man forced to carry on working? Let him retire cardinals!

I'm no pope fan. In fact I think he's an evil man whose pronouncements and reluctance to reform cause misery and hardship the world over, but give the old boy a break. He's too sick to carry on.

Let him retire to a harem with sexy striptease nuns dancing round him, sipping champagne and eating crisps and nuts all day.
 
Have to agree with you on all that, Urethra.

Trouble is, I think he chooses not to retire, a bit like our Queen here in the UK. Divine duty and all that.

I'm glad I'n not his nurse. Getting him into all that drag must be a nightmare!
