How old must a thread be for replying to it is considered 'necro-ing'? Thanks.

I would guess 2-3 weeks- if their is newer information, then as has been suggested, post a new thread
If you need to go father back my opinion is you are raising a dead thread

Thanks! Several forums I visit encourage reviving old threads if it's the same topic, so I was wanting to be sure about what was allowed here.

Reason for 2-3 weeks is normally newer more accurate info is available
I would guess that reviving a dead thread can bring back those posters who were dick swinging/trolling/pissing contests start up again

I can understand that, have witnessed it on other boards, definitely a drawback.

There isn't a set time frame and we don't typically take action unless we run across someone reviving multiple old threads.
