The comparison is stupid as hell. Requiring an exam that has nothing to do with the medication being given and requiring an ultrasound for pregnancy have nothing in common. He can at least choose something that is somehow similar to an ultrasound.
Erectile disfunction can be due to problems with the prostate.
A quick exam to make sure nothing is going wrong up there makes sense if someone is having problems with erections.
But don't worry, the doctor won't be required by law to tell the patient what everything feels like, as with the pre-abortion sonogram.
