They are simply trying to make their cuts make Obama look bad, The President is trying to minimize their efforts, that makes him a bad person to you. Why shouldn't the President try and avoid layoff notices to workers if he can? Isn't that his job?

The latest memorandum states the federal government would cover employee compensation under the WARN Act -- "irrespective of the outcome" as long as the contractor follows the Labor Department guidelines.

It's been established that he is willing to ignore the limits to the powers and authority of his position and is willing to commit taxpayer dollars in order to prompt companies to violate the law.
