Though I have posted this before NOW I am posting it the 1st day of the RNC. There is no party platform....zippo....zero....nada! It is no longer a political party. It is a cult of personality built around DonDon. If you didn't believe it till now.....NOW you can believe it.

policy positions of the Obama-Biden Administration, as well as those espoused by the
Democratic National Committee today; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That the Republican Party has and will continue to enthusiastically support the
President’s America-first agenda;

RESOVLVED, That the 2020 Republican National Convention will adjourn without adopting a
new platform until the 2024 Republican National Convention;

RESOLVED, That the 2020 Republican National Convention calls on the media to engage in
accurate and unbiased reporting, especially as it relates to the strong support of the RNC for
President Trump and his Administration; and

RESOLVED, That any motion to amend the 2016 Platform or to adopt a new platform, including
any motion to suspend the procedures that will allow doing so, will be ruled out of order.

One of the functions of major party conventions is to draft and approve the party platform. That one does not exist before it has been drafted and approved is not really all that surprising.

Yes that is true. They have accomplished quite a bit. However I did not see 170,000 dead, an economy with its dick in the dirt and the destruction of American Institutions in their 2016 platform.

That said if one were to actually read the 2016 GOP platform, in many cases they have gone decidedly BACKWARD since 2016.
