Defending yourself from violent criminals isn't murder. The reason Fields and Rittenhouse are in jail is because they had wrong opinions (wrong opinions were explicitly part of the basis for federal charges against Fields). With how screwed up the country is I expect them to meet the same fate.

Donald Trump has sent some very clear messages, that if you commit violent acts he says he'll pay your legal fees. If you commit Federal crimes he commutes your sentence, has the AG recommend lower sentences, or maybe even will pardon you. I'm waiting for details/leaks of the reason for Trump's inaction regarding the Coronavirus while it was ravaging only blue cities. Why is that other countries including original epicenter China have had nowhere near as many deaths and cases as the U.S.? It's because they followed epidemiologist recommendations of complete immediate shutdown, not denying there was a threat.
There is a lack of respect for life and law coming from Donald Trump, it's in his actions and the messages he has been sending, and it has gone on far too long. He needs to be stopped.

Apparently the Trumpster claim on Trump supporter Kyle Rittenhouse is self defense, and far rightwing lunatic Aubrey Huff is calling him a national treasure. Will we see a rejection of this stance from the republicans? If not, it's apparently OK to start firing your rifles at people you do not agree with politically, and if this precedent is allowed to remain unchecked it's open season for everybody on many sides.
I know the situation, and someone else fired first, but there has to be some accountability from Rittenhouse walking down the street with a rifle obviously looking for a confrontation. It was certainly not Rittenhouse's job to protect anything, he is a minor, and not a cop.

Those murders are not being committed by Republicans.

Cherry picking 2 instances over a many year period, does not indicate a Murder Culture.

There are several policy and culture decisions conservatives have embraced that support this assertion:

The police, a sacred cows of the GOP is increasingly infiltrated by right-wing extremists/white supremacists, some of whom come from the military, another GOP sacred cow.
Stand your ground and gun carry laws.
The private prison industry.
The tearing apart of families by deporting its members.
Dehumanizing and forcing those seeking asylum to languish in primitive encampments.
Arguing that secular humanists want to destroy western culture and destroy our way of life.
Characterizing liberals not as opponents to be debated but enemies to be destroyed.
Placing property rights over human rights.

Republicans support policies, such as Trump's pledge to keep the poor out of the suburbs, that perpetuate an environment where these things happen.

Its hypocritical to condemn violence in poverty-ridden, racially segregated ghettos (and lets be honest, conservatives only do in order to blame liberals) while perpetuating policies that cause it to happen.
